I was hesitant about getting a guide for the pyramids, but I'm glad I did. Being able to hear the explanations in Japanese significantly increased my satisfaction. The entrance fee for the pyramids was 700 EGP, the internal entrance fee for the Great Pyramid of Khufu was 1500 EGP, the camel ride was 1000 EGP, the museum was 550 EGP, and drinks during lunch were extra. It was fun because I was able to do everything I wanted. Lunch was a buffet. Rola was very knowledgeable, answered many questions, and her explanations were easy to understand.

Our trip started at 8:00 AM from our hotel, Novotel Cairo Airport. It took an hour and a half to reach the Giza Pyramids. Upon arrival, our guide, Mr. Ayman, gave us a brief explanation about the pyramids and their history. We then moved to the pyramids via the hop-on hop-off bus provided by the pyramids management. We explored the pyramids and also visited the Sphinx with our guide, who provided us with insights into the pyramids. We spent 3 hours there, and after that, we went to lunch. Our guide took us to a nearby restaurant that offered a vegetarian local dish called Koshary. We really enjoyed it. After lunch, we went to The Grand Egyptian Museum. After entering the museum, our guide, Mr. Ayman, gave us a brief overview of everything about the museum. After completing the museum, we went to Khan el Khalili Market and left around 5 PM. Our trip concluded. I strongly recommend this trip and also our guide, Mr. Ayman, who possesses a tremendous amount of knowledge and explained everything to us very gracefully.

This Cairo 2 Days Luxury Private Tour was a highlight of our Egypt trip—perfect mix of history, culture, and authentic experiences. Day 1: Step Pyramid at Saqqara, ancient Memphis with its colossal statues, delicious lunch at Wadi El-Malook Village (fresh Aish Baladi baked by the ladies was amazing!), then the iconic Giza Pyramids and Sphinx. Day 2: Extended time at the classic Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square (incredible artifacts!), followed by Old Cairo’s Hanging Church, Greek Orthodox Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Tasty lunch, then the stunning Mohamed Ali Mosque in the Citadel. Our guide Emad was fantastic—passionate, knowledgeable, and full of enthusiasm. He explained everything vividly, protected us from harassment, and handled any haggling so we could fully enjoy the sites. Driver Yaseer navigated Cairo’s chaotic traffic safely and professionally. Seamless private transfers, great food, personalized pace. Highly recommend and request Emad and Yaseer!

The guide Abdul was so hospitable and knowledgeable. He really made sure I was happy with the program and paced the tour according to my directions. We also avoided all the unnecessary sellers, and Abdul made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey.

Egypt has a national treasure in Amyan our guide. His knowledge, passion, and wisdom are all worth the experience. His energy and dedication is a true blessing to his craft and his profession. Amyan helped me celebrate my 50th birthday and it is truly something that I will take with me at the end of my time on earth. A magical gift and experience given truly by the gods.
