Jessica was a fantastic guide from Bus Travel Iceland-friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the trip. We were lucky to have sunny weather, which made the views along the road even more stunning. The tour was well organized, everyone stayed on schedule, and the experience was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended when visiting Iceland!

The Northern Lights experience this time was a wonderful surprise, as we saw the Northern Lights in two different locations. Thanks to the guide for introducing the aurora in an interesting way, and for the delicious hot chocolate. Highly recommended!

I think on this tour, you need to be brave to approach the guide and ask how to tie your crampons and request to wear your safety belt. If you're shy or don't ask anything, you'll feel left out. I'm not sure if this tour is worth it or not. We encountered a storm, so we skipped one station, but overall I'm satisfied because I had about an hour and a bit to take photos on my glacier tour, and you get to go into a small ice cave. I felt a bit sad because we were stuck in a snowstorm for 3 hours. The guide made an effort to drive back to the city; he himself took care of 15 people in a small van and led us on a glacier hike. Pick-up and drop-off were at my nearby hotel. I'm a bit skinny, so I constantly had to catch up with others because the wind almost blew me away. Gear provided: okay.

Bjarni, nuestro líder de las auroras boreales, fue fabuloso. Es muy conocedor y se esfuerza al máximo para cumplir nuestro sueño. Nos detuvimos en muchas ocasiones a lo largo del camino y finalmente capturamos una fuerte después de 2-3 horas. Sin embargo, las luces son apenas visibles a simple vista, pero se ven increíbles en la cámara. Este es el tipo de tour al que querrías apuntarte, en lugar de los tours grandes que te dejan en un solo lugar y te hacen esperar. Nos apuntamos a un tour en grupo pequeño, de lo cual no nos arrepentimos, y fue eficiente. La recogida fue un poco desordenada, pero definitivamente no fue culpa de la compañía. Todos los diferentes vehículos llegarán a esta misma parada y comenzarán a llamar nombres, por lo que tendrás que estar atento entre un grupo de unas 50 personas (para mi noche en particular).

Peter was our driver/guide for this trip. I was unsure if the guide was included in this package, as we were mainly dropped off at each location for self-guided walks and exploration. However, Peter gave clear instructions, directions, and cautions (if any). He also shared historical information and stories on board while driving. The trip went well; we saw what we registered for and had beautiful weather. The natural colors and landscapes were breathtaking. Pick-up was pretty much the same as for all other tours in Iceland: arrive at a particular spot and wait for the guide to call out names.
