Mike is a good tour guide. Mike was very knowledgeable and friendly. The explanations about the history and culture were clear and engaging, which made the whole tour much more enjoyable. He was also very helpful and attentive to everyone in the group. I had a great experience.

Our visit to the Forbidden City was truly unforgettable and absolutely worth it. The palace complex is enormous and filled with fascinating history, and having a guide made all the difference in understanding what we were seeing. I highly recommend this tour—especially with Peter—if you want to experience the Forbidden City on a deeper level rather than just walking through it.

Our guide (Ms Ada) was very patient, knowledgeable and engaging! Ada and the driver were on time and we didn’t have to wait long for pick up at each destination. Ada guided us through Forbidden City & Summer Palace, providing as much stories as one could absorb. It was no regrets having a personal guide as a first visit (Note: One can’t see everything @ Forbidden in a day!), giving you the flexibility and direct access to questions. My husband who loves history truly enjoyed the experience. Great day trip!

Wow. We started the tour quite late at 9:30 AM compared to other groups. However, while waiting in line before entering Tiananmen, our guide JULIA (remember her name) was incredibly informative compared to other groups' guides. She explained a lot of historical background and shared some trivia in very fluent English, and she was also very funny. She was a non-stop machine of a history teacher, explaining everything step by step and minute by minute. The tour involved about 5 hours of walking, so prepare comfortable shoes, water, and a small meal (such as bread or onigiri), as we don't stop for lunch during the tour. Make sure to have a big breakfast. The tour finished at 4:00 PM, and she even gave us restaurant recommendations to try.

We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide, Ms. Lisa, during our Iconic Beijing Private Tour. She was very efficient, professional, and well-organized throughout the day. Her explanations at every location were clear, detailed, and easy to understand, which made the tour even more enjoyable and meaningful. She was also very caring and attentive to us, always making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The lunch arrangement was excellent as well – nicely chosen and well-organized. We had a great and wonderful experience on this trip. Our tour guide, Ms. Ranee, was excellent at explaining all the places in great detail. She was very nice and helpful (even helping us order something and have it delivered to our hotel 😊). We also had a very nice driver who drove very well. What a fantastic experience! Andy, our guide, looked after us so well from the time he met us at our hotel and throughout the tour. Great English and knowledge of the Forbidden City which made everything we saw so much more interesting and meaningful. He also adapted the tour to our needs (we skipped Tiananmen Sq because of the crowds). Mention also goes to the driver Zhen who drove us from the hotel to the Forbidden City in a spotless vehicle prepared with water and snacks. Highly recommend this tour for a great private experience.

Lucy war von Anfang bis Ende eine unglaubliche Reiseleiterin. Sie war sachkundig, organisiert und sorgte dafür, dass sich das gesamte Erlebnis nahtlos anfühlte. Als Alleinreisende fühlte ich mich die ganze Zeit über absolut sicher, gut betreut und wirklich willkommen. Darüber hinaus sind ihre fotografischen Fähigkeiten erstaunlich. Sie wusste genau, wie sie die besten Momente und Blickwinkel einfangen konnte, was das Erlebnis noch spezieller machte. Ich fühlte mich nie gehetzt und immer unterstützt. Wenn Sie alleine reisen oder einfach nur einen Reiseleiter suchen, der wirklich alles gibt, ist Lucy ein Juwel. Sehr empfehlenswert!
