Passeios por Datanla Falls

Today, I had a full-day tour with our guide, Su. Everything went smoothly and on schedule without any waiting time, and she provided kind guidance. Also, I had mistakenly booked a half-day tour, but she helped me arrange with the company to change it to a full-day tour. I highly recommend it to everyone; it was a lot of fun.

The tour was great! I loved the coffee farm and bee farm part. The guide was very informative and explained everything well. There wasn't much to do at the falls besides taking pictures. The Alpine coaster in Datanla was super fun! The automatic photography was a bit expensive for me, 90,000 dong for the picture.

It was an amazing day and a great adventure! New, clean, and very comfortable mini-bus, great driver! We visited three waterfalls (had a chance to ride the Alpine coaster at the first spot), a pagoda, and different farms – a silk farm, a cricket farm (a chance to try crickets and local alcohol), a coffee farm (local coffee and amazing views!), and a flower farm. We were very lucky with our guide Minh (meaning "memory") who told us lots of interesting information about the places/farms we visited, Vietnam, and local life in general, and answered all our questions! It's an interesting and nicely balanced tour; the kids weren't bored or tired.

Our tour guide, Quy from Viet Challenge/ Thu Thach Viet Travel, is very friendly and professional. To the best of his ability, he patiently explains Vietnamese culture, tells us about tourist attractions in Da Lat, and even advises us on how we can arrange our own itinerary for the next day. For us, this tour was very good, compact yet relaxing – we went to the Datanla waterfall and could choose between walking or the alpine coaster (topping up 250K VND ourselves – a bit scary, but if you overcome that fear, it's fun), a flower farm, a coffee garden, a cricket garden, Linh An Pagoda where we climbed 200 steps for a clearer view of the surroundings, and lastly, we went to Tuyen Lam Lake for kayaking (part of this package tour, so no extra payment needed). I loved the entire tour, and most importantly, none of the tour guides throughout the day pushed us or demanded tips! That made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. I feel this is what a professional tour guide should do. I hate to say this, but I have personally encountered a very bad tour guide who demanded tips on our day tour from Da Nang to Ba Na Hills, and that still haunts me. Anyway, kudos to this Vietnamese tour agency company and Quy! They made our day and are super highly recommended!

Our itinerary ended up being different from the one originally advertised, as there weren’t enough participants for the planned trip. However, the alternative locations we visited were still very worthwhile and made for a great experience. Our guide, Vinh, was fantastic—friendly, approachable, and fluent in English. He shared interesting background and historical insights at several of the places we visited, which made the trip even more engaging. For lunch, we were taken to a spot near a Halal restaurant, which was very convenient for Muslim travelers—so no worries there. During the day, we visited Datanla Waterfall and took the Alpine coaster, explored the Clay Tunnel, the Crazy House, played Mario Kart, and visited Mongoland and Minh Coffee. Overall, it was a fun and memorable day with a good balance of adventure and relaxation.

We had a fantastic tour with Mia! There were many beautiful photo spots, and the experience was unforgettable. Highly recommend!

This is a must do tour in Da Lat!! I did the full day tour and it didn’t feel like we were rushed. Our tour guide was Su. He is very helpful, informative, attentive, and I enjoyed the whole trip! You should definitely try this!
