The aquarium isn't large, but it offers a great opportunity to see animals up close. You can see penguins without glass barriers, and also watch staff feed sea lions and even take photos with them. Like larger aquariums, there are also show times, with many allegories dancing to music, which is very exciting! So, it's definitely worth a visit.

It takes 45 minutes by car from JR Metropolitan Sendai Hotel to the aquarium. Buying tickets through Klook is convenient, quick, and excellent. Besides marine life, there's a dolphin show and a pearl experience. It's definitely worth a visit.

The Sendai Umino-Mori Aquarium isn't huge, but the penguin area is a real highlight.
