It's small but complete, and the surrounding area is very convenient for shopping! It's easy to get anywhere! It's very lively at night!

The staff were friendly and spoke English pretty well. We had 3 twin rooms on 11th floor facing Tokyo Skytree which was nice. They changed the towels and emptied the trash everyday and we had the full cleaning of the room on one day out of the five nights. The beds were comfortable but I found the pillow too hard for my liking. However my family had no issue with it. The rooms were small but we could open a medium size luggage laying it flat by the window and another two large shopping bags by the side. I think a bigger room is needed if you have a large size luggage. Rooms were clean with strong air conditioning. We got used to walking the distance to the subways. It was about 15-20mins walk to Ueno. As we had an elderly in the group we took a private car transfer to Narita airport. I think it would be challenging to take the trains to the airport with those luggages, especially with kids and elderly.

The room is relatively small. The toilet is not fully functional. The location is strategic. Cleanliness: poor. Transport access: good.

Extremely convenient! There's a Starbucks, Muji, GU, Lawson, and Baskin Robbins right downstairs. The hotel is located directly above the MRT station, and the station entrance is just a left turn from the hotel's front door. There are also many shops inside the station. In short, it's absolutely fantastic! We stayed on the 15th floor, and the view was beautiful 🤩 We are very satisfied.

This hotel has a great location, the staff were polite, and breakfast was included. However, they don't provide water, so you'll need to purchase it separately. There are many convenience stores nearby, so it's not a concern.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 1-minute walk from the JR station's central exit. It's also very close to the Toei Subway and the electronics district. Overall, it's a good choice. Hotel location:

Our first stay in a Sotetsu Fresa Inn hotel chain. Chose this branch as Ueno was our home base. Initially booked the room solo, but since my daughter decided to come, I contacted the hotel through Agoda and got the paid room reservations modified to include the second guest, with some add-ons, of course. BUT, at the price point when I first got this during the Klook sale event, it was still very, very affordable for a Tokyo hotel.
