Passeios por Nachi Waterfall

I had an amazing time with my guide, Kimi! Kimi was super knowledgeable and sweet during the tour, and was extremely engaging with my friend and I (we did a private tour for 2). We went to the tour knowing very little about the cultural significance aside from what we read online and finished a tour with a newfound appreciation for the Nachisan area. It is an understatement how much I enjoyed myself on this tour and I highly recommend everyone to book this tour if they are going to see the Nachi Falls! Aside from the amazing guide, the tour company was also very responsive, providing email updates on who to contact and where to meet, making it very easy to find our guide on the day itself.

Koyasan is so peaceful and beautiful. It was the highlight of my trip. I highly recommend it.

The staff were professional, and the guide at Koyasan was very experienced! The stay at the shukubo was interesting, though quite spartan. I didn't realize that the communal bathroom wasn't open before the morning chant started, so I had to wash my hair in the sink in the room's toilet…😂

The tour is very well coordinated, which I liked. One thing I want to emphasize is that you get a 2-hour block to see the main sites and make sure to eat during that time. I got a little confused by the written itinerary and didn’t grab food in time since I thought it was after the sightseeing. Taiyuan is very kind, and there are emails ahead of time to remind you where to go. The bus is roomy and comfy, and he provided some neck pillows too, which were super helpful to sleep on the long ride. If you’re looking for a self-paced and do-whatever-you-want kind of tour, which is more of my vibe, I would definitely say go for this one. I highly recommend it. I liked that I could trust our driver and all the other passengers. Lunch is not included, but there are shops you can buy food from. Try to eat breakfast beforehand since it is a very long ride.

Our guide, Ms. Kiyoko, was friendly and kind, providing detailed explanations and even preparing snacks for us. The night before our trip, she also booked a restaurant on the mountain for us. The itinerary was well-planned and not too strenuous, allowing us to experience both the mountain temples and the Kumano Kodo World Heritage site.

It was a great day. The transfer was seamless and the guides' English was excellent. Food and toilet stops were also provided, and an extra stop could always be requested. I enjoyed my three hours exploring the Kumano Kodo walking trail.

Tuvimos un gran momento con nuestro conductor, Sam, fue muy respetuoso, complaciente y paciente. También nos recomendó un excelente lugar para comer. Cuando llegamos a las Cataratas Nachi estaba lloviendo, y él tenía paraguas listos para nosotros. Su actitud positiva y alegre hizo que el viaje fuera muy especial.
