Hotéis perto de Chiufen (Jiufen)

This time, I stayed in a room with a wooden theme, and I really liked the overall atmosphere; it was very relaxing. However, please note that there are still gaps between the curtains in the bathroom, and the angle of these gaps allows people outside to see in. Also, because it was very humid, I had to empty the dehumidifier three times during my one-night stay. The room had many small lights, which meant there were too many switches, making it very inconvenient to use as there was no master switch. I booked a massage, but be aware that there is a black camera installed next to the air conditioner in the massage room, which made the overall massage experience quite unsettling.

The amenities are very thoughtful. I appreciate the small details like the map with recommendations, the dehumidifier, shoe cabinet, and refillable drinking water :)

The B&B is located next to the Shisan層 (Thirteen-Story) Remains, at a relatively high point in the settlement, offering views of the Shisan層 Remains and the Yin-Yang Sea's varying beauty from morning to night. In addition to excellent accommodation, the B&B also provides a refined and hearty breakfast. When Brother Kevin heard we were touring the island by scooter, he even treated us to an Italian coffee. This place is suitable for checking in during the day. We arrived quite late that day, it was already dark, and the mountain road was winding and a bit steep. The navigation led us to the entrance of the Gold Museum, but luckily, the administrator came out to explain, otherwise, it would have been really troublesome. This guesthouse is very clean, the environment is well-maintained, and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast is also quite exquisite. It's a rare accommodation in the Jiufen area. We happened to come on a weekday, so we had the whole place to ourselves. We stayed on the second floor with a great view, and the air in the mountains was also very good. The mattress was comfortable, and the quilt had no strange smell. I love staying here. It's just a few meters' walk up from Jiufen Elementary School, past the famous Taro Ball dessert shop. I asked a local for directions, and he even helped me carry my bag, which I'm very thankful for. This place offers a foggy view when it rains. Don't worry, they also provide umbrellas for guests.

For travelers driving, parking is convenient. There's a steep shortcut to Jiufen Old Street, which requires some leg strength but gets you there quickly. The B&B has beautiful scenery, perfect for relaxing. The owner is great, providing information on local business hours and dining options. If you're planning to visit Jiufen, this is a good B&B worth revisiting – highly recommended!
