We booked the Hanbok + photography service, and there was a Chinese-speaking staff member on site. After booking tickets online, we found a machine to print them out and then handed them to the counter staff. The venue is large, and there are many styles to choose from. For women's hair accessories, there are both paid and free options. Men's hats cost 3,000 Korean Won and need to be paid separately on site. The photographer who helped us that day was a young and very friendly lady. She spoke English throughout, and although my companion and I have very poor English, we managed to communicate well enough. She taught us how to pose and also asked us to free-style, which meant we could pose freely. The shooting time was about 60 minutes (including walking to Gyeongbokgung Palace and finding spots inside). We took photos at 11 AM, and I received the pictures around 4 PM, about 280 photos in total. We are very satisfied with this experience and highly recommend it to friends! If we have another Hanbok experience in the future, we will definitely book the photography service again! I forgot to ask for the photographer's name, so I've included a group photo for your reference, but I don't know if you can request a specific photographer 🙂

The shop assistant spoke Japanese and gave me advice on suitable combinations and current trends. The process, from putting on the hanbok to hair styling, was smooth. There were many optional items like bags and furs, which made choosing them enjoyable.

It's a must to try this hanbok experience and get inside the palace for a full experience wearing the Korean traditional dress. And also that note of the closing time at the palace. hanboknam is very accommodating their staff are lovely.

The staff spoke Cantonese, were very friendly, and willing to help with sizing and suitable lengths. It was a good experience, and the location is very close to Gyeongbokgung Palace.

It was easy to find the hanbok shop (need to climb up to level 3 though) and not much crowds at 11 AM. Great and interesting experience wearing the hanbok to visit the palace!

The location was easy to find, and the staff provided excellent service. We arrived in the morning when there weren't many people, and it took us about half an hour to choose our outfits and simple decorations.

Redeem is easy and the staff is very friendly. You can rent additional accessories like a hat for men for 2,000 won.
