Guanziling Hot Spring águas termais

I love car camping trips, and whenever I arrive at a new place, I always make sure to visit the local hot springs. I've been to many hot springs in Guanziling, and last week, I stumbled upon the five-star hot spring environment at Hushan Hot Spring. It was my first time experiencing such a high-quality public hot spring pool in Taiwan. The venue is spacious, the environment is elegant, and I even tried a hot stone bath for the first time, which was truly amazing.

Soaking in hot springs when it's cold is truly comfortable, but you need to avoid peak times as there will be many people waiting. The lady at the counter was very nice and explained the benefits of Guanziling hot springs. However, be careful walking as the floor is slippery.

APR. 04 2026 ♨️ 竹香園甕缸雞✖️關子嶺富野溫泉會館 預報說 4/4 全台 100% 下雨，我們的行程當然也跟著「滾動式調整」！😂 來到關子嶺，真的是雨水、溫泉傻傻分不清楚。雖然溫度有一點點低，心裡難免嘀咕「每次連假出去玩都感冒」，但看著孩子們期待的眼神，大人們決定豁出去！玩就對了！大人們個個躲進富野溫泉會館室內泡湯，哇～那個熱度、那個泥漿，真的太舒服、太享受了！瞬間把濕冷都拋在腦後。♨️ 結束後更是超級幸運！原本做好排隊心理準備的「竹香園甕仔雞」，竟然完全不用排隊直接入座！🎉 每一道菜都好好吃喔，這群小小工頭們泡完湯、吃完雞，體力又滿格了！全台雷雨交加的今天⛈️完美ending！

Parking is convenient (there's a second parking lot), located 60 meters from the guesthouse. The private hot spring room costs 800 NTD for 2 people for one hour, which is quite affordable. The guesthouse is very beautiful and clean. Upon entering, you're provided with a bottle of water and towels. I was initially a bit worried it might be a carbonic acid hot spring or just regular mountain spring water, but it turned out to be genuinely greyish, slippery water. For a moment, I thought it should be more viscous! The facilities are complete: hairdryer, comb, water dispenser, lotion, and most importantly, they are all free. There are also some props for taking photos, making it very worthwhile to visit! There are many Taiwanese roasted chicken restaurants nearby, so dining is quite convenient.

For hot spring recommendations in Tainan, Hushan Resort offers a Japanese-style hot spring park with diverse and rich facilities. The public bathhouse includes cold pools, medicinal baths, tea baths, hydrotherapy pools, and a 100% natural Okuhida hot spring recreated from Gifu Prefecture, Japan. There are also bedrock baths and steam rooms, along with complimentary hot tea. Using Klook discounts, you can enjoy all these facilities with one ticket, making it incredibly cost-effective!

施設は広々としており、清潔なロッカールームとシャワーが完備されています。温泉エリア近くのバーで無料ドリンクも提供されるため、大変お得です。また、一度入場しても、ロッカールームに戻ってからいつでも再入場できるのも良い点です。温泉の利用時間無制限は本当に価値があります。スチームルームには通りを見渡せる大きな窓があり、自然光が入ります。全体的に、素晴らしい体験でした。

The facilities are very well-maintained and clean. Besides the SPA spring, the Five Elements Hot Springs offer mountain spring, lavender, jasmine, herbal, and regular hot springs. On weekdays, there aren't many people, and the area is spacious. If you get too hot, there's a cold spring or a rest area where you can enjoy a cup of tea. The environment is full of greenery, complemented by the comfortable hot springs, making it truly enjoyable and relaxing for both body and mind.

This time, I chose Jiaoxi Hanmu for hot springs, mainly because I could use the SWITCH facilities. Since entry and exit are limited to once, after lunch, I first soaked in the hot springs, and after that, I went to play SWITCH. There were many SWITCH consoles, and after 3 PM, hardly anyone was playing. They had racing games, Mario Party, and so on. The environment was excellent. This time, I went on a weekday, and the hot spring area wasn't too crowded, with a limit of 50 people. But for just soaking, it was fine. Weekdays are best, with fewer people. Next time, if I have the chance, I'll go on a weekend to see if it's very crowded.
