Parking is convenient (there's a second parking lot), located 60 meters from the guesthouse. The private hot spring room costs 800 NTD for 2 people for one hour, which is quite affordable. The guesthouse is very beautiful and clean. Upon entering, you're provided with a bottle of water and towels. I was initially a bit worried it might be a carbonic acid hot spring or just regular mountain spring water, but it turned out to be genuinely greyish, slippery water. For a moment, I thought it should be more viscous! The facilities are complete: hairdryer, comb, water dispenser, lotion, and most importantly, they are all free. There are also some props for taking photos, making it very worthwhile to visit! There are many Taiwanese roasted chicken restaurants nearby, so dining is quite convenient.

The bathhouse provides towels and mineral water, as well as toiletries for post-soak cleansing. The hot spring water is sufficiently warm, and the high water flow allows for quick bathing. It is located near Biyun Temple and Water and Fire Coexistence.

Online booking for a one-hour hot spring room for two was very convenient. The facilities were complete, there was parking available, and towels and water were provided. A timer alerted us with 15 minutes remaining, allowing us to plan our shower and hair wash accordingly.

After parking the car in the designated parking lot across the street, we showed the voucher on our phone to the counter staff, and they immediately provided us with a private hot spring room. The environment inside the hot spring room was good, and there was even a bench, similar to a park bench, where we could rest to avoid feeling unwell from soaking for too long. There were also two small bottles of water provided on the shelf, which was very thoughtful, allowing us to drink directly if we were thirsty. Overall, it was excellent!

600 NTD per hour for two people is quite a good deal. The Lih Chuan Mud Hot Spring is very comfortable, and the space inside is large. Towels and water are provided, and there's also a water dispenser and hair dryer available outside! As for attractions, there are nearby restaurants, parks, wooden cabins for us to visit, and the Hao Han Po (Hero's Slope) from the Japanese colonial period, all in the vicinity. After soaking in the hot spring, you can explore the nearby attractions together!

I used Klook today to book a hot spring voucher, which was very convenient. I forgot to make a reservation the day before, but luckily the owner was very kind and still let us use it. Although the decor isn't luxurious, the hot spring room was clean and tidy overall, and the ventilation was excellent, so there wasn't the stuffy, uncomfortable feeling often found in hot spring rooms. I will definitely go again next time.

Booked the 1 hour session, I believe it is more than sufficient for most travellers looking to experience this. Place is easy to find amongst the streets, has a cute character outside the store. You are provided with towels, shower gel and shampoo, and water bottles inside the room, for you to rinse before getting into the hot spring. If you are planning to go by bike/car, suggest that you head there before the sun sets as the roads there are not very well-lit. Overall, not a must try but good to go if you want to try it once.
