The guide was very enthusiastic and strict with time management, but thanks to that, we were able to return to the city as scheduled. She was also very attentive; even though we are foreigners, we had no trouble communicating. The scenic areas are nice to visit, but very crowded as expected.

This is an excellent tour that efficiently covers the highlights. The driver and guide do not speak English at all. Since the movement within the tourist spots is predetermined, it would be even better if you prepare a map in English, print it, include information, and leave space to write down the meeting times on-site.

After completing the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, I waited two days to recover before daring to write this review, because it's truly worth a detailed account. Our first day, the airport pickup in Xining was very smooth; the driver was already waiting for us. To my surprise, in late August, there was still a small patch of rapeseed flowers blooming at Qinghai Lake, their golden color perfectly complementing the azure water. We visited Chaka Salt Lake in the afternoon, and luckily there was no wind, so the 'Mirror of the Sky' effect was absolutely stunning. Emerald Lake was my biggest surprise; it had far fewer people than Chaka, and the water was a vibrant mix of green and blue, like a spilled palette. Drone footage from there could easily be used as wallpaper. The kids loved riding camels in the desert and didn't want to leave. Our small group consisted of only 6 people, and the commercial vehicle was spacious. Our driver, who also served as our guide, shared stories of the Northwest throughout the trip, which was purely for sightseeing with no shopping stops. By late August, the mornings and evenings in the Northwest were already cool, so bringing a windbreaker was definitely the right choice.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Master Cai as our driver for the entire Hexi Corridor trip. He was professional and reliable, driving smoothly and safely, and was very familiar with the road conditions and details of all the attractions. He has a deep understanding of the history and culture along the Dunhuang and Qilian routes, and could eloquently describe the local customs and traditions along the way. He proactively shared many practical local tips, helping us avoid potential pitfalls. He flexibly adjusted the pace of the itinerary based on our preferences, never rushing us, and managed our time perfectly. He is easygoing and meticulous, taking excellent care of us throughout the journey. His driving was steady, making the entire experience exceptional. Our youngest traveler rated him 200 out of 100!

The place was nice to visit. Chaka late is far from xinjng town best to stay a night at Chaka to relax and enjoy. hotel room was clean and big with humidifier. Outside hotel there are plenty of food n drinks and small supermarket. The food there was mostly lamb and beef for the protein and of course they do have vege. people there are mostly Muslim Chinese. The weather was lovely, a bit dry, remember to bring rich moisturiser. The morning temperatures around 9 degrees. By noon, it was around 18 to 19 degrees. It was a nice place to explore and walk around, especially Lake Chaka. I had a wonderful time there, walking around the lake in those waterproof boots with deposit. hop on and off on the train that bring you round the lake. It was a unique experience. for. communicate chinese with the driver. Experienced driver the ride was smooth and comfortable. we passed by a herd of lambs on the way back. driver used a route that we can view the nice scenery on the way to the Lake.

What a wonderful tour! My wife and I visited the Grand Loop for the first time, and these are truly unique places: delightful salt lakes, dunes, yaks and other animals, colorful mountains, the opportunity to experience local traditions and art, and to try the national cuisine.
Special thanks to the agency for organizing the trip, and to our guide and driver, who were always helpful in every way and took our interests into account.
The only thing to keep in mind is the rather long distances between attractions. You should be prepared for this and be patient, because what you see will surely stay in your memory forever.

Our guide, Xiao Guan, was easygoing and cheerful, and very talkative. He shared local customs and traditions throughout the journey, making the long drives full of laughter. What was most impressive was his thoughtfulness: before we got out at each attraction, he would provide detailed touring tips in advance. He also flexibly adjusted our itinerary based on the weather and available time. Along the way, he didn't forget to recommend authentic local dishes, and thanks to him, we discovered several small eateries known only to locals. With him, the entire trip was worry-free and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Our small group, originally for 2-10 people, ended up with only 6, so there was plenty of space and it was very comfortable. Our driver, Brother Biao, was excellent; he drove safely and was very easy to get along with, always checking in on everyone. The scenery in Qinghai is incredibly vast and expansive, with green grasslands as far as the eye can see. We also got to experience horseback riding and wearing Tibetan clothing. The weather was pleasant, and overall, we were extremely satisfied! We'll definitely choose a longer trip next time if we have the chance.
