Maquinit Hot Spring em Coron

Must visit place! Highly recommended place to dip and relax after a day of island hopping!!! It's a very beautiful place.

This is a hassle-free experience. Hotel to Maquinit to Hotel via Van transfer with a free side-trip to a souvenir store.

Comparing the price we got this for to the other service providers we saw in Coron, I’d highly suggest to just book this tour when you get in Coron. Others would get it for as low as 500 each or less with the same airconditioned transfers. Nevertheless, our driver was kind and helpful and drives well. It was a rough road and we still felt safe during the 20min ride from out place. The souvenir shop we went to was too expensive. We did not bother buying anything from it. 😅

The timing was a bit awkward, so we ended up watching the sunset from inside the car. ^^; I recommend departing from your accommodation around 5 PM. You can travel by tricycle (if you take a tricycle, the driver will talk to you and negotiate the fare) or by car. Traveling by car is much more expensive, but it has the advantage of being more comfortable. At the hot springs, the guide told us to soak for about 15 minutes and then repeat the process. It's definitely a place worth visiting.

¡Valió muchísimo la pena! Las aguas termales eran hermosas y la actividad perfecta para relajarse. La camioneta llegó a tiempo y nos llevó a la tienda de souvenirs.

The Hot Spring is very beautiful and perfect for any hot spring. There are benches to sit on to take a break. Also, a high vantage point to take a great picture. Although they have a walkway, the railing cannot be touched, and the flooring has holes. It's a bit sketchy since they charge foreigners 250 pesos each for environmental fees. Yes, nothing seems to be going towards upkeep.

The overall experience was good. The hotspring was nice.
