It's highly recommended to go early when there are fewer people. After booking online in advance and confirming on-site, you can get in very quickly, which is super convenient! This hot spring offers great value for money, and the facilities are excellent. Highly recommended!

I arrived earlier than my scheduled start time and they let me start then. Everything was very clean. They charge for towels so bring your own. Nice and large pool and not many other people. Water was between 25-30celcius. They had a path around several other pools and geyser where it was 100 Celsius and fun to watch water spout. Nice and relaxing experience.

It was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, the hot spring was wonderful, and just what I needed after travelling. I was in Iceland for 24 hours and I’m so glad I stopped here to enjoy the facility. It includes a shower and pool noodles to use in the water if you’re so inclined.

It's quite like a public bath. The shower room only has body wash, so remember to bring your own towel, shampoo, etc. The hairdryer is even more frustrating than a cheap brand; it's a fixed, sensor-activated hood on the wall, but it looks more like a hand dryer. If you're tall, you have to bend over; if you're short, you have to stand on tiptoes... I recommend bringing your own. There's only one hot spring about the size of a 50-meter pool, and about five steps behind it, there are hot tubs and such, which look small (I didn't specifically walk over to them). I decided to go after reading a blog, but my companion and I both felt it was just okay and could be skipped. The target audience (TA) is local families. On a side note, here are all the hot springs I visited this time: 1. Sky Lagoon: The seven-step ritual deeply impressed one of my friends, who said their scrub was better than Sabon or anything else. However, I didn't like that you could only experience each step once, including the steam room. The TA is influencers and young people. 2. Forest Lagoon: A 10-minute drive from Akureyri city center, with many tour buses nearby (possibly due to the port). But it was my absolute favorite! Shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and body lotion were all provided and very good! The hot spring is long and narrow, nestled between the forest and snow-capped mountains – a great pleasure in life, and very photogenic. Remember to order a picturesque drink and take a photo with the snowy mountains. If I were to go to Iceland again, I would definitely go here. The TA seems to be tour groups and some young people. 3. Blue Lagoon: The water is truly blue, but as you approach, it feels like you're entering an industrial area. Don't doubt it, just keep going. Also, Google Maps for Blue Lagoon will take you to the hotel's parking lot, so as you get close, it might be better to follow the signs. The steam room, which is half-filled with water, is super comfortable to soak in, and the dry, high-temperature room has a beautiful view of the Blue Lagoon. You can float on your back in the water, but remember not to drink it because it's very salty 🤣. Remember to bring some food, otherwise, sushi costs 800 ISK and has hardly any meat (I was very hungry after soaking, haha). The TA is young tourists. Myvatn Nature Baths were under renovation, so I didn't experience them and have no opinion. The Beer Spa also closed down, and their website is gone. End of review.

The environment is clean and comfortable, the hot spring temperature is just right, and the atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. The service staff are kind and friendly, the facilities are complete, and the experience was very enjoyable. It is one of the most recommended hot springs on a trip to Iceland!
