Tour a pé pela comida de rua de Colombo

Originally, I booked the tour for 5 pm, but the tour guide decided to do it together with my city tour. It was fine with me, but the temperature was very warm. I also did enjoy the foods since I was allergic to seafood, and most of the food presented was seafood. But to sum it all up, I still ate some of it.

Street Food Walking Tour. I had a great experience on this tour. I love Sri Lankan cuisine; it's unique, tantalizing, and colorful.

We were looking forward to our walking food tour, and had booked a one hour taxi from Negombo, however one hour before our tour, our host changed the tour to a city tour of Colombo in a car.....this is not what we booked.

Don’t book this tour. Better yet, don’t book any tour in Sri Lanka using Klook. We tried to book two things the first was cancelled (it happens) the second was this food tour. A few hours before the tour the tour operator contacted me asking if we could change to a driving tour not a walking tour and do a city+food tour. We had already done a city tour and I expressed this. The agent then assured me that it could still be a local food tour but in car. I was hesitant to accept due to reading that this happened to others and they had not had the best time. However, I reluctantly agreed as the agent didn’t offer any alternative and time was pressing on for us to do something else with our last night in Colombo. We arrived at the meet up place listed and the driver didn’t show up. After 10 minutes I contacted the agent and no response from them or the driver. After 20 minutes I contacted Klook who asked for proof (which I sent and still have) and I then informed them that we were leaving and I wanted a refund as I didn’t want to waste our last night and these two incidents hadn’t left me with much confidence that even when/ if the tour guide showed up, it would be a good tour. After 25 minutes the agent contacted me to say the driver had been waiting (but hadn’t thought to get in touch) and that he was at a different entrance (not the one listed on Klook’s website or one we had been informed of earlier). I told them we had already left and was in contact with Klook about a refund but the agent kept messaging me until I had to ask them to stop contacting us. We used other services to book tours and experiences in Sri Lanka and they went flawlessly, unfortunately the Klook ones did not.

Solo se encontró un puesto y un puesto de frutas, y luego un patio de comidas en el centro comercial para elegir un plato principal. No es un recorrido gastronómico ni un recorrido de ningún tipo. Una larga caminata bajo el calor hacia ningún lugar realmente por Galley Green. Una completa pérdida de dinero, podríamos habernos ahorrado el castigo y entregar el dinero y no ir al "recorrido".

22.01.2023 அன்று நான் 13:00 மணிக்கு ஒரு சுற்றுலா முன்பதிவு செய்தேன். 12:40 மணிக்கு மேலாளர் எனக்கு அழைப்பு விடுத்து, சுற்றுலா 15:00 மணிக்கு ஒத்திவைக்கப்படும் என்று கூறினார். இது எனக்குச் சரியா என்று அவர் கேட்டார். இல்லையென்றால், அவர் ரத்துசெய்து பணத்தைத் திரும்பப் பெறுவார். நான் ரத்துசெய்து பணத்தைத் திரும்பப் பெற ஒப்புக்கொண்டேன். ஆனால் என் பணம் இன்னும் அட்டையிலிருந்து எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது, பணத்தைத் திரும்பப் பெறவில்லை.

Colombo street food can be a bit of a mystery to outsiders. But once you know where to look, it's a very savory and unique cuisine built from many cultures. The tour lets you try the best local treats and entrees without worry. The operator is VERY helpful...willing to customize for any request so you can learn as much as possible about the culture and cuisine. I can't recommend this tour enough to friends traveling to Sri Lanka for the first time. Amazing tour with a local.
