Mai is a Japanese Tea Ceremony teacher with over 16 years experience in the field. She explained the history and the way how Japanese tea ceremony works in detail. Highly recommend for those who would like to learn the traditional art and culture of Japan.

Great experience! I've always wanted to experience a traditional tea ceremony, and the experience did not disappoint. Unfortunately, I found it a bit expensive, but the experience itself was truly excellent. I learned a lot about the history and significance of tea ceremonies and even got to try making tea myself. The class was kept quite small, with only 4 people, which I loved. We were allowed to choose our own cup and Nerikiri Wagashi (traditional Japanese sweet) for the Matcha tea; the selection depends on the month and season. Filming and taking photos were allowed throughout without any restrictions, but one shouldn't forget to enjoy the experience. At the end, there was also the option to buy Matcha tea or a bamboo whisk at a good price. I can definitely recommend this course to all tea enthusiasts, as it was worth it for me.

This is an amazing experience! The teachers are friendly and knowledgeable, and the clean, tidy environment enhance our understanding of Japanese traditional tea culture. I highly recommend this activity.

I was lucky enough to be the only one at the Tea ceremony today! Reina allowed me to take as many videos and pictures as I wanted and she also helped me take pictures of when I was doing the tea ceremony. The experience was very rewarding and educational- Reina went through the history of the Tea ceremony and explained that it was actually established in Osaka and not Kyoto. She also demonstrated the intricacies of the tea ceremony very elegantly! I would highly recommend you immerse yourself in some culture and enjoy the whole process from making to enjoying your own tea!

Very nice small tea ceremony, the lady was very sweet and friendly. She explained and showed everything perfectly and then helped us do it ourselves.

This was so nice. Everyone was so sweet to my family and me. The tea and sweets were so delicious. I learned a lot about matcha's history. The whole thing was very cool. My only complaint is that it wasn't very easy to find, and we only found it because there was a line of others waiting. It could maybe be made clearer, but it really didn't have a negative impact on our experience.

The building was difficult to find. It's opposite the street sign for Dotonbori Street. The experience was phenomenal. Small group, intimate. The teacher was exceptional in English and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed making my own tea and eating snacks. You sit on a mat for the entire time and climb four stairs to get to the room. It's worth it.

The tea ceremony was superb. The host gave us a history of how the tea ceremony came to be and even showed us how to properly prepare the matcha.
