Hualien: Experiência de SUP (Stand-Up Paddle) no Lago Liyu

Pre-arrangement and communication of reminders were very good. During the activity, coach Alin was very dedicated to taking photos, which is very important for a group of girls. He guided us on poses and camera angles. He also had a good sense of humor occasionally and constantly checked on our learning progress. We were initially afraid of standing on the SUP, but with the coach's encouragement, we successfully stood up. The process was relaxed and fun. On the way back across the lake, we were so happy that we sang songs as we left. We played until we were hungry, and the coach even recommended a seafood restaurant (Xinxin Noodle Restaurant) to us. Coach Dada's instruction is very detailed, and he's a witty and engaging speaker who shares a lot of relevant knowledge. Every one of us successfully stood up and didn't want to leave. We'll definitely come back to play with Coach Dada again next time! ^^

The coach is really super nice, both humorous and witty (he even played with us 😆), his photography skills are top-notch 👍🏻, and there are tons of photos (I'll show you some back shots 😜). His teaching method is also easy to understand (even those who were afraid to stand up eventually succeeded 👏🏻). We made a last-minute booking just two days ago, and many coaches were unavailable because they went to the Harvest Festival. The coach even came all the way from Taipei to Hualien to teach us, and didn't cancel our booking (so touched 🥹). The scenery at Liyu Lake is truly stunning, I highly, highly recommend everyone to participate in this activity 😍

I highly recommend everyone to come! We had three coaches for our group of 14, and the lessons were comprehensive, ensuring everyone received attention. The coaches were also very meticulous in teaching, and everyone quickly got the hang of it. There were also many interactive games, and they diligently helped everyone take photos with three camera angles, capturing many classic moments. When we returned to the guesthouse, we all felt like we hadn't had enough 😂 The children also had an incredibly fun time.

On that day, there were only three of us with the coach. The pre-trip preparations and meeting point were clearly communicated. I went with friends, and two of them couldn't swim. The coach taught very well. It was everyone's first time playing SUP, but we all managed to stand up successfully. Liyu Lake's water is very calm, perfect for beginners. And the most important part, the photos! I have to emphasize this: the coach is really good at taking pictures and took so many! I was a bit worried about trying it because there weren't many reviews, but I didn't expect to meet such a humorous and fun coach. I specifically came online to leave a good review and praise them!

I highly recommend this place! The meeting point is accessible by scooter, the coach is very humorous and funny, and the video they shot is also very good. I suggest everyone apply plenty of sunscreen when playing, bring an extra set of clothes to change into, and then just enjoy yourselves. Don't be nervous when you get into the water.

Extremely lucky! My wife and I were the only ones in the group that day. We had Liyu Lake all to ourselves, the weather was fantastic, and we had a great time paddling. The instructor's teaching was very professional! Every step was explained in detail, and they took plenty of great photos. Highly recommended! Hualien has beautiful mountains and waters!
