In conclusion, this was the best tour. I am a certified sommelier in Japan, and I was deeply moved to visit wine regions straight out of a textbook. I don't think it's possible to taste so many Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines at once. The guide had worked at a winery for a long time, and at the start of the tour, he explained the overview of Burgundy wines, their differences from other wines, and his deep love for Burgundy wines. The tour is conducted in English. My English was poor, but the guide was very considerate, asking "How's the wine? Is it delicious?" and facilitating communication with other participants. Of course, you can purchase the wines you taste at the wineries, but there is absolutely no pressure to do so, so I think you can participate with peace of mind. We had a wonderful tour and Emmanuel is very knowledgeable. We tasted some famous plot's Grand Cru and Premier Cru wines during the tour, visiting the Grand Cru route including Musigny, Romanée Conti, Echézeaux, Clos de Vougeot and Corton etc. If you love Burgundy wine, this is the tour you are looking for.

We saw the vineyards of Burgundy, and our guide was very knowledgeable, explaining the geography, terroir, and flavor characteristics related to wine. It was a very rewarding experience. When we arrived at the Romanée-Conti vineyards, we asked to stop and take photos, which was also arranged and accommodated.

Emmanuel was a very nice guide - knowledgeable about wines, catering well to our needs and accommodating flexibly. You get to visit vineyards with wine tasting, which is otherwise difficult to arrange. We managed to bring a few bottles back home and were very happy we made the trip!
