1. The fireflies are beautiful and gather on one tree, looking very much like stars. 2. The waiting time is quite long, so it's recommended to go early. You probably don't need to go to Southern Park (we went, but still did it for the itinerary; later we realized we could have skipped Southern Park and gone to see the fireflies earlier, which would have saved us from waiting so long—about an hour. The people in front have to finish before it's your turn. However, there are banana boats and small boats; the banana boat seems to be for individuals to paddle themselves. I'm not sure if you can choose that option). 3. The reason for the low cost-performance ratio is that it cost over 3,000 NTD for three people. It feels like chartering a car ourselves wouldn't be this expensive (because KLOOK also provides a chartered car, one car for three people). And it seems there are similar, cheaper local tours. However, because we were in a foreign place and worried about being scammed, using KLOOK felt safer, and the experience should be better. But if I had to choose again next time, I would probably try booking a local tour, as the location should be the same! And it would save a lot of money!

There were so many fireflies at the event in December, and they were incredibly beautiful. It's a shame I didn't bring a good camera; all my night photos turned out quite dark.

Our trip went smoothly. Our guide was accommodating. If there's any suggestion, I felt that we could have added some more places to visit - the itinerary was flexible - I mean you could tell your guide whether you fancy going someplace else. As for those who are planning to go firefly watching, bring off lotion (for mosquitoes), wear long sleeves, and the tour guide there suggested that if you want to see a lot of fireflies best do it by December. We participated in the firefly tour with our children. It was a highly satisfying firefly tour! Since we only wanted to see fireflies, we rated the tour course 4 stars. The tour guide was very kind and led us well, so we had no worries. I highly recommend it because we saw many more fireflies up close than in Malaysia. Thank you very much.

The tour was great. We experienced that farm and had an amazing firefly watching. My son’s first time to see fireflies was amazing. Kuya Joemar, our driver was on-time. He is helpful and respectful.

South Palm Tour is like a small zoo. You can feed birds and rabbits, and the paths are decorated with trees. You can also fish in the lake and combine your catch with meat from the restaurant for a meal. There isn't enough time to do that at the lake. The fireflies were very beautiful. Since it's a private tour, it's a bit more expensive than a local joint tour.
