If you're looking for a tranquil and comfortable night cruise on the Chao Phraya River in Thailand, choosing Banyan Tree Saffron is definitely the right decision. Report to the reception counter at ICONSIAM pier at the designated time, and staff will guide you to the designated boarding point at the pier, making the process convenient and smooth. The onboard facilities are comfortable, and the atmosphere is excellent. The service staff are also very friendly and attentive. First, head to the open deck to enjoy a welcome drink, then be led by the waitstaff to the indoor cabin to enjoy a four-course dinner. The food quality is good, especially the soup and main course, which are particularly delicious and impressive. As it was a friend's birthday, a birthday cake was also served, along with a commemorative photo. When we reached Wat Arun, the highlight of the Chao Phraya River, guests were given a short time to go up to the open deck to take photos. The entire experience was very comfortable and wonderful, with a superb atmosphere.

It's a beautiful cruise, and the service is excellent. It's a much better experience if you're aiming for a more luxurious choice. They serve welcome drinks, so you can spend some time on the deck before heading to the lower deck, which was very grand in design for dinner. The server is excellent and welcoming. After dinner, they will invite you to the upper deck and take photos for you. The whole experience is warm and happy. I went there for my boyfriend's birthday, and he enjoyed it very much too. Unlike other options, they offer a full 3-hour cruise, and it's very enjoyable.

We celebrated my mother’s birthday aboard Saffron Cruise, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The staff went above and beyond to make her day extra special—from the warm welcome to the thoughtful birthday surprise. The food was exceptional, the view of the city lights was breathtaking, and the service was outstanding throughout the evening. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. I really appreciated that the team arranged a small cake for my mom’s birthday after I mentioned that we were coming to celebrate her birthday. It was a thoughtful gesture and made the occasion feel more special. The staff were also very friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our visit. They even proactively offered to help take photos for us, which we really appreciated. The only downside would be the pricing of the drinks, which we found rather expensive, including the plain water. 😅 Other than that, we enjoyed the experience and the warm hospitality from the team.

This time, we chose the 4-course Saffron cruise by Banyan Tree. This boat is more upscale compared to other buffet-style cruises. Upon boarding, we were offered a welcome drink and had time to take photos at the top deck bar or dining tables, and enjoy drinks before setting sail. The staff provided excellent service, often helping with lighting for photos. The food was decent, but the main draw was the ambiance and experience. Towards the end, the captain even stopped in front of Wat Arun for guests to take pictures, which was a very nice touch.

This was one of the best dinner cruises along Chao Phraya River. Food was excellent and the cruise had just the right number of guests for it to be enjoyable and not too crowded. Service was excellent. But take note they don’t serve service water, either you order drinks onboard or bring your own water. But they do serve 1 round of welcome drinks upon boarding, but that’s it. Still a beautiful dinner cruise all in all.

First time in Thailand and Saffron Cruise was magical! Great food, stunning views of Chao Phraya, and super warm service. It was all worth it!

First, there's just one thing I'd like to see improved. The voucher stated that we needed to complete the procedure at ICONSIAM an hour beforehand, but the staff member surprisingly appeared at 6:30 PM, which was a bit late. It took some time for the reservation to be confirmed for this popular cruise, which was frustrating, but I now understand why it's so popular! Compared to other cruises I've been on in the past, where people would rush the buffet and the music was so loud it made you want to dance (which isn't really my age group anymore, haha), this cruise offered a wonderful experience with delicious course meals in a calm setting, accompanied by fantastic views! The staff's service was also excellent, and I was very grateful for their thoughtfulness in assisting my mother, who has difficulty with stairs.
