⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely breathtaking view of the city!Taking the Saigon Sightseeing double-decker bus tour at night is highly recommended! Saigon after dark is absolutely amazing with all the buildings lit up in bright, vibrant neon colors. Sitting on the open top deck gives you the perfect, unobstructed view of the city's incredible skyline and lively energy. It is an absolute must-do if you want to experience the best nightlife views in Ho Chi Minh City!

It was a great, affordable, easy way to get to see the sights of HCMC without having to pick out every single individual stop on my own to explore piece by piece. I always love doing hop on/off bus tours in any city I visit that has them. Klook made it super easy to book and reserve a date. We did the full day pass with the red and blue line. The staff were very friendly. You get a hat to wear on the bus (leave it when you get off) if you sit up top, which is very useful during super sunny days like today.

There is a Grab pin that takes you directly to where the tour bus is parked which is convenient. I went during the 5pm tour and it was easy to just get on the bus. From 5:30pm onwards are the peak hours so many tourists were scrambling to get on the upper deck so manage your time and expectations. This was a nice experience seeing the architecture of Ho Chi Minh and being amazed by the tree-lined streets, as well as the many many parks you can see all over the city.

Đây là chuyến tham quan bằng xe buýt tốt nhất khi bạn ghé thăm Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. Chúng tôi đến Nhà hát Lớn để đổi vé, sau đó băng qua đường. Việc này hơi khó khăn do có nhiều xe máy và ô tô đang đến, nhưng chúng tôi đã xoay sở được. Chúng tôi tiếp tục xếp hàng rất dài. May mắn là chúng tôi đã chọn chuyến tham quan buổi tối vì đó là chuyến tốt nhất. Nếu chúng tôi chọn chuyến tham quan buổi sáng, trời sẽ rất nóng và nắng. Với chuyến tham quan buổi tối, bạn có thể ngắm nhìn mọi thứ thật đẹp, tất cả các tòa nhà đều lên đèn. Không có hướng dẫn viên du lịch, nhưng điều đó không sao cả. Tôi nghĩ chuyến đi kéo dài khoảng 40 phút, và chúng tôi được trả về cùng một địa điểm, lại là Nhà hát Lớn. Nơi này gần Cà phê Chung cư và tất cả các điểm du lịch khác ở Sài Gòn.

Initially, we thought it was a 4-hour trip, so we decided to board at exactly 5 PM, not realizing it would only be a city tour lasting less than an hour. We got in early and missed the "night sight" of the city. There was no audio available during the tour, so it was literally just sightseeing. However, it was fun because the afternoon breeze was just right, and the sunset view was majestic.

Overall, this was a fun and relaxing way to explore Ho Chi Minh City, especially if it’s your first time visiting. The booking process on Klook was very easy, and ticket redemption near the Saigon Opera House was straightforward. The highlight of this experience is definitely the open-top double-decker bus. Sitting on the upper deck gives you a great view of the city, from iconic landmarks like Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, and Independence Palace, all in one ride. The hop-on hop-off concept is also very convenient if you want to explore at your own pace. The audio guide was helpful and available in multiple languages, giving interesting background information about each attraction. It’s a good option if you want a quick overview of the city without worrying about transportation. However, there are a few things to keep in mind. Seats—especially on the top deck—are first come, first served, so it’s better to arrive early if you want the best view.

It was easy to redeem, and it was indeed very fun. It's a must-do activity whenever you visit Ho Chi Minh City. It was a good thing we listened to the advice to get the night tour. It was beautiful and windy at the same time. Lights and buildings were all over the place. It was a quick ride to see the beauty of Saigon.
