Experiência de tecelagem Umeda (Osaka)

We attended the weaving experience with our 2 daughters aged 7 & 11 and we all loved it so much. The teacher made the instructions so easy to follow, from choosing the colours to each completing a table runner. Such a special memory for our trip and perfect momento to take home. We recommend it highly. Thank you!!!

The process was smooth and easy. The instructor set up the warp and we just had to weave the weft. We were taught to use the shuttle, and before that, we were given a free choice to pick our skeins for weaving. We were also given 2 free coasters and 2 friendship bracelets at the end of the workshop, which was a very nice touch. The studio was also very cozy to be in.

This was the cutest and best activity I’ve done in Japan. The host was so lovely and you leave with a scarf you wove yourself with colors you chose. Highly recommend!

Ito ang aking pinakamagandang karanasan sa Osaka! Sulit na sulit ang bawat piso. Hindi ka lang mag-uuwi ng napaka-personal na souvenir kundi tumutulong ka rin sa isang komunidad ng mga taong may espesyal na pangangailangan dahil ang Saori ay isa ring organisasyon na nagtatrabaho sa mga PWD. Napakagandang karanasan!!! Sobrang saya na dito ko ginugol ang aking kaarawan!

I had a great time here. The staff were friendly and generally clear in their instructions, despite limited English. There were options to make a table mat or a scarf, and I chose the shorter table mat because I wasn't confident in my weaving abilities. It ended up looking pretty good! It does take a long time though, so be prepared to sit and work on it for a while. I was pleasantly surprised by how much it ended up costing - the materials are very light and I would say the price is good. It ended up costing less than ¥1,000 for my table mat. Glad to have experienced this, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who's interested in handmade items! That said, the location is a little harder to find, tucked away in an alley. Use GPS!

The location was easy to find, and even though the space was a little small, my mom and I felt comfortable. We enjoyed being creative and being able to create a truly unique souvenir! The staff was patient and would help if we got stuck.

10時30分のクラスに参加しましたが、スタッフの方が10分早く入れてくださり、とても親切でした。男性スタッフは英語を話せたので、手順をとても分かりやすく説明してくれました！そこにいた女性は英語を話せませんでしたが、それでもとても親切で協力的で、全工程を通して私を案内してくれました。全体的に雰囲気は美しく穏やかでした。スカーフを作りましたが、合計で2700円でした :)

This was my top Osaka experience! Absolutely worth every peso. Not only do you take home a very personalized souvenir, but you also help a community with special needs. A fantastic experience! This was the cutest, best activity I did in Japan. The host was incredibly lovely, and you leave with a scarf you've woven yourself, in colors of your choice. Highly recommended!

This is an experience I've always wanted to try, being a weaver 😁. It's easy to learn, and the teacher is very patient with guidance. Weaving a table runner or scarf gives a great sense of accomplishment. I highly recommend it to anyone curious about looms.

I was scheduled for the 10:30am session and arrived two minutes before it started. I had a lot of fun doing this workshop! It took more than two hours to finish my scarf. The staff were really nice and accommodating ⭐️ would love to do it again someday ☺️
