I have to give it 5-stars based on value for your money. Seniors (65+) and primary school kids are free, and adults are less than $2! I paid extra for the little zoo tram as it was crazy hot, hundreds of school kids, and the monkeys are no joke! stole a water bottle right out of a boy’s hand in a big school group (ran off with it)! The best part was the water area, like a splash pad. Although older and rundown, it did the job of cooling us off. There’s 3 areas, with rain water coming from above, and two shallow areas maybe 1-4 inches of water. Animals weren’t too active due to heat/sun. Don’t recommend eating here as not many options, nor good quality.

It's been a while since the zoo reopened after renovations, and I was really looking forward to seeing what had changed, as it had been over 10 years since my last visit. The ticket price is surprisingly cheap! Fearing a long wait to buy tickets, I purchased them in advance on Klook. At the entrance, I just needed to scan the QR code to get in. The ticket prices on Klook and at the venue are the same, but you can use Klook credits for discounts.It's convenient to get there by public transport or by car. The motorcycle parking area is a habitat for wild macaques, and I saw many people using wooden sticks to jam their scooter compartments. I asked some hikers and learned that the macaques are very clever; if your compartment doesn't close properly, it's best to block it with a stick, otherwise, they'll ransack it. There are also plenty of parking spaces for cars, and the parking fee is quite reasonable.The zoo now has a skywalk. I remember the entrance used to have animal designs, but now it has a more modern, designed look.I originally wanted to try dining at the "Light Room," but my entry time coincided with mealtime, and the weather was lovely, so it was already packed with visitors. I'll have to try it next time!I also bought a zoo magnet as a souvenir this time 😂

Visited in early December, it's a great place! However, at the scooter parking area, it's said that Taiwanese macaques will lift up seat cushions, so everyone puts branches to jam the cushions to prevent this! Taiwanese macaques were already roaming around from the entrance, even before entering! Super close! The center of the park has a wading pool, where children and adults can play in the water when it's hot, and there are shower rooms and lockers. Most of the herbivorous animals in the park are very friendly, but the parrot area was under renovation and maintenance, so it was a bit of a shame not to be able to interact with the parrots! Another bird enclosure had ducks, geese, sacred ibises, and a bunch of peacocks. If you're lucky, you might have peacocks accompanying you as you stroll through the park! It's highly recommended for adults and children who love animals! Although the park is smaller than Muzha Zoo, it's very walkable and has many interactive animals!

Next, I arrived at the zebra enclosure. The zebras' black and white stripes shimmered in the sunlight, forming a beautiful natural tableau. They harmoniously roamed a grassy field, as if dancing to a rhythmic tune. Such a sight depicted the harmonious beauty of nature, making me feel a deep appreciation and respect for ecological balance.
