Originally, lift tickets were supposed to be exchanged at the main center, but we stayed in a cabin in the west, and there was a center nearby where the staff kindly allowed us to exchange them. One employee at the main center's ski boot rental was very rude, but everyone else was great. So far, it's been a good experience, and it's close to Tokyo, with an outlet nearby too. Remember to bring your own gloves and ski goggles as they are not available for rent. On a side note, the cabin is a bit old, and the bed and pillows are the kind that will leave you with aches and pains... It has a nice feel to it, but sleeping on that bed after skiing felt like adding insult to injury...
