I had an amazing Haenyo photo experience in Jeju Island that felt both meaningful and unforgettable. We dressed in traditional Haenyo outfits from the 1970s and earlier, and took beautifully guided photos in the studio as well as out on the waterfront rocks. The owner explained the history of the Haenyo, and we watched videos that helped us understand why these remarkable women became sea divers and how their traditions shaped Jeju’s culture. We also had the chance to meet real Haenyo divers, who were incredibly friendly and lovely, making the experience even more special. A professional photographer guided us through every pose and location, and the sizing was inclusive. Side note: You do need to drive or take a taxi to reach the location, but it is absolutely worth the trip. This was a fun, informative, and memorable experience that I highly recommend.

まず、体格の大きい女性として、自分のサイズがあったことに心から驚き、すぐに安心感を覚えました。写真の仕上がりにも大変満足しています。海女の歴史について聞くことができ、それはとても興味深く、ホストは忍耐強く、親切で、私たちを急かすことなくすべての質問に答えてくれました。この体験をさらに特別なものにしたのは、パッケージには記載されていなかったことですが、実際に本物の海女さんたちに会って、一緒に写真を撮ることができたことです。彼女たちは温かく、面白く、歓迎してくれ、間近で交流できたことは素晴らしい経験でした。アクティビティ全体が、単なる観光の瞬間ではなく、地元の文化とつながっている本物だと感じられました。さらに、空港からのアクセスも非常に良く、すべてが簡単でストレスフリーでした。ビーチやレストラン、カフェに近いので、済州島での最初または最後のアクティビティとしてお勧めします。全体として、期待を上回る有意義で思い出に残る体験でした。

I would totally recommend this experience for those who are interested in the rich cultural heritage of Jeju Island! You will learn about the connection between Jeju’s history and female divers (I must say I was highly impressed by their work and strong tradition which they’ve been carrying for such a long time). The photoshoot was accompanied by really comfortable atmosphere and I felt completely on ease (although I’m quite awkward and shy when it comes to taking photos). The photographer helped with posturing, was very welcoming and cheerful. The host of the shop explained the history and the meaning behind the haenyeo costume and it was really interesting to listen to! The costume itself looks cute ^^ and the host even helped with the hairstyle for the costume. The view of the shooting was truly captivating. We even had an opportunity to meet the real haenyeos and take photos together with them! That experience was so authentic and unique, highly recommend this service!

I had a wonderful experience with this Haenyeo photoshoot in Jeju. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and very considerate from the moment we arrived. They explained everything clearly in English, including the history and meaning of the Haenyeo. The costume was unique because it was specially designed to resemble the traditional outfits used many years ago, long before the modern black diving suits, which made the experience feel authentic and special. It was comfortable and easy to move in. The shop is just a few steps from the sea, and the views were stunning. The staff also provided water, helped us with posing, and took photos both inside the cute studio and outside by the ocean. They even guided us to a spot near real Haenyeo divers so we could see their environment up close. Overall, it was a meaningful and relaxing experience. I enjoyed every moment. If you want something cultural, beautiful, and different in Jeju, this photoshoot is perfect and highly recommended.
