Loved the explanation provided by our tour guide Ugur, he was also happy to assist with any questions and recommendations for places to visit. Ugur has a good sense of humour. We tasted a great variety of food and drinks during the tour, it was worth it for tourist wanting to know more about Turkish food. Fun to visit the Asia side of Turkey which was definitely overlooked compared to the European side. However, for the price we paid for the tour, I expect to feel very full after the food tour but instead we still need more food for dinner.

We had a fantastic food tour in Istanbul, exploring the culinary delights of both the European and Asian sides. Our knowledgeable foodie guide Ayce took us on a mouth-watering adventure, showcasing the diverse flavors and aromas of this vibrant city. We began in the historic Sultanahmet district, sampling traditional Turkish breakfast at a Family Restaurant. Next, we visited the bustling streets of the Spice Market. Each bite was a testament to the rich culinary heritage of Istanbul. Then we took the Ferry to the Asian Side of Istanbul visiting local eateries. This food tour is a must-do for anyone visiting Istanbul! Be prepared for a culinary journey that will leave you craving for more. Don't forget to come hungry and wear comfortable shoes for the walking shoes!

The Istanbul Taste of Two Continents Food Tour was one of the highlights of my trip! Our guide Bahri was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Turkish food and culture. We started on the European side, wandering through lively local markets, sampling freshly baked simit, flavorful cheeses, and the best menemen I’ve ever tasted. Crossing to the Asian side by ferry was such a magical experience—beautiful views of the Bosphorus and a sense of stepping into another world. On the Asian side, we discovered hidden gems I’d never have found on my own—authentic family-run eateries serving mouthwatering kebabs, mezes, and sweets. Every stop told a story about Istanbul’s rich history and diverse culinary traditions. I loved how the tour blended food, culture, and local life—it felt genuine, not touristy. Come hungry, because you’ll be sampling a lot! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to truly taste the heart of Istanbul.
