Excursão de um dia em Incheon saindo de Seul: Luge Ganghwado, Railbike, Balsa Seagull

The luge ride was so much fun! First, you take the cable car up, and the scenery is also beautiful. There are several cameras along the way that take photos of your luge ride. You can get one printed on the spot, and download the rest of the photos 👍 The tour guide said it's available all year round unless there's severe wind and rain. We came in June, and the weather was great. The hillsides were covered in beautiful flowers. In winter, the hillsides are covered in white snow. The Hanjeongsik (Korean set meal) is also great for experiencing various Korean side dishes. The Cho Yang Bang Jik Cafe is beautifully decorated, and their famous salt bread, coffee, and desserts are all good. The handkerchief stamping experience was also fun, but it's only 20 minutes, so everyone needs to be quick, haha. You can take it home as a souvenir 😄 Thanks to our tour guide, Sammi, today, she was wonderful!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a fun day out! Had the best time on this tour! Super worth the money and packed with so many cool spots. Huge thanks to our guide, Suki—she was awesome! She speaks fluent English and Mandarin and shared so many fun facts throughout the day. Feeding the seagulls on the ferry was definitely a highlight! She was also smart enough to flip the schedule so we hit the Ganghwa Luge first thing in the morning, which saved us from the crowds and the midday heat. The bus was super comfy and the ride was really smooth too. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for an easy, fun day trip! Thanks for everything, Suki!

A very enjoyable trip. First, I must commend our tour guide, Lio, who is a perfect guide! He managed time very well. Lio would remind us at appropriate times, and when we needed to decide on certain arrangements together, he would use a messaging app for voting, which avoided unnecessary awkwardness 😆. Lio's instructions were very clear, and he frequently reminded us about safety and important matters 👍🏻👍🏻. He also helped us take photos at the right moments 😍. Lio is a truly excellent guide 👍🏻👍🏻. He gave us time to rest in the car when needed 👍🏻. I really hope to meet him again on other trips. Secondly, the luge ride was great fun; you must try it twice, it's very exciting! And the cable car ride up the mountain offered incredibly beautiful scenery. Next, the seagull feeding experience will definitely be unforgettable. After lunch, the rail bike was a good way to get some exercise 👍🏻. The scenery was beautiful! Finally, I wish we could have had more time at the resort, as there were many shops, restaurants, and the environment was very clean. Participating in this trip made for a perfect day.

Boarded the bus in Myeongdong. Due to the summer holidays, there were 40 people in the group. The luge ride was super fun! First, we took the cable car up the mountain, then slid down. Younger children shared a luge with an adult. We had time to ride twice. After the ride, we could buy photos as souvenirs. Feeding seagulls on the boat was delightful; we fed them two bags of shrimp crackers. The rail bike was very unique, and the scenery along the way was beautiful and comfortable. Our tour guide, CJ, explained the itinerary and arrangements in detail in Mandarin. Although there were many people, the arrangements were excellent. The driver was very polite, always greeting us with a smile when we got on and off the bus. The ride was very smooth. CJ and the driver were fantastic! Although the weather was very hot, it was well worth it, and we had a great time.

This time, due to the small number of participants, there were only five of us, a group of friends. The travel agency initially asked if we wanted to switch to another Chinese tour, but we felt an English tour would be fine. So, the travel agency directly arranged for a Korean driver who spoke simple English to pick us up from the hotel in a private car, allowing all five of us to participate in the activities. The entire travel experience was simply joyful and unforgettable. It's important to highlight that the driver was incredibly friendly and thoughtful. Our luggage was a bit heavy, and he proactively helped us carry it. He recommended local snacks to us 😋. Knowing we didn't speak Korean, he meticulously asked staff at each attraction for directions and guided us to the correct entrance. For example, when playing luge, he accompanied us up the mountain, led us through putting on safety gear, and guided us on how to choose which path to take for the luge ride. Additionally, during meal times, the driver carefully asked the restaurant owner about the barbecue steps and even cooked for us himself, allowing us to savor authentic local delicacies. Therefore, I sincerely want to thank the driver for making our trip so enriching 🫶🏻🫶🏻🥹. Furthermore, we were extremely satisfied with the itinerary and activity arrangements. It felt like a local tour that transitioned from a Seoul city walk to exploring mountains and rivers. The Hwagae Garden was incredibly beautiful. In the early stages, there were no other visitors, so we had the entire place to ourselves and could take photos everywhere. Although there was an additional charge to take the monorail up to the Hwagae Mountain Skywalk, the scenery was breathtaking. With blue skies and white clouds, walking on the skywalk offered panoramic views of the entire countryside, with a distant glimpse of the North Korean border. The locals were also very friendly; even with language barriers, they actively tried to communicate with us. The monorail ride was also worthwhile, like a slow roller coaster, with butterflies fluttering around (this is true, there were really many butterflies 🦋) and beautiful scenery along the way. The Gyodong Yongri Market is just a small market with a few shops selling traditional local snacks that are hard to find in Seoul. They offer samples to visitors and don't pressure you to buy. The Jeju yuzu rice puffs recommended by the driver were absolutely delicious – highly recommended! Regarding the food, although the quality was just average, being able to personally experience the local barbecue culture and taste the preparation of authentic local dishes was still worth it. The driver's cooking skills were excellent; it was my first time tasting such delicious instant noodles 🥹😋. I really want to ask him for his cooking tips. The luge was really thrilling and fun, but unfortunately, the itinerary only included one ride. You need to pay extra to ride 2 or 3 times. It was clear that the entire trip was a local tour, with only locals and no other foreign tourists. I really liked this aspect, as it allowed us to truly experience the local culture and the simple, rural way of life. The luge also had very few people, so there was no need to queue, and we could quickly ride twice. Finally, I once again sincerely thank the driver. His thoughtfulness and dedication created an unforgettable memory for our group of five. I truly thank the driver (I hope he sees this review); he silently but diligently took care of us. The luge is fun! Remember to bring cash here. If you want to buy souvenir photos for ₩20,000 or ride the luge again, it's cheaper if the guide buys the tickets. The ticket price is ₩12,000. If a child rides with an adult in the same cart, it's ₩7,000. Two rides are usually enough. There's not much to see at the market. Feeding the seagulls is a lot of fun 🕊. Our guide CJ was friendly, enthusiastic, and very interesting. He even offered to take photos for everyone, which added a lot of joy to our trip!

非常充實的一天團，一次過去了很多景點！滑車很刺激，可以當日加錢滑2次，九歲以上的兒童可以自己駕一架滑車，不過因為是一直下斜坡，速度也比較快，小朋友手臂需要夠力才能好好控制速度！餵海鷗體驗也非常難得，用蝦條餵，拎上手指幾秒就被海鷗吃了，很快餵了一整包，非常受歡迎！而腳踏自行車在海邊踏非常寫意，雖然要踏40分鐘的旅程，但4個人一起踏，很輕鬆就完成！童話村就沒有太大特別，當是輕鬆打卡，但午膳在童話村，餐廳的選擇很少，而且沒有什麼特色，就是簡單填飽肚子！而傳統市場很細，但也可以購買少許當地特色小吃，價格實惠！整個行程非常充實，而且導遊CJ也很好！不過就是團費價格稍高！

The itinerary was rich, and the programs were perfectly arranged between each other. We always boarded and departed on time, but never felt rushed. There was ample time, and each attraction had its own unique characteristics. The time was very well spent. After returning, there was still time to go to the night market for dinner. I should also add that lunch was very substantial, and the time allotted for each segment of the trip was very appropriate. Excellent! 👍🏻👏🏻

The time arrangements for each activity were appropriate, and the recommended restaurants were thoughtfully chosen, allowing travelers to savor the local culinary culture. Furthermore, during the afternoon luge activity, she paid special attention to our safety measures, ensuring that travelers had fun and stayed safe. Her explanations of Seoul's attractions and Korean life culture during the itinerary greatly enhanced my understanding. Finally, my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this day's trip.
