Experiência de Snorkel Noturno com Arraias-Manta na Ilha Grande do Havaí

Night manta ray viewing is amazing! The location is Kona Sunlight on Water. Snorkels and masks are provided. Life vests depend on individual ability. Although Hawaii isn't very cold, an hour in the water near dusk can still be chilly. It's best to wear long sleeves in the water and wrap yourself in a towel after getting on the boat. I used a GoPro to film two manta rays very close up; they are attracted to the light.

A must go activity!!! Crews were nice and fun! Luckily we saw many giant monsters (manta!)!!! Would bring camera or mobile phone to shoot them next time so that I can remember them vividly all my life! Ps very cold in early march!

This tour involves 15 to 20 people going out on a boat for a night manta ray snorkeling experience. It might be a bit challenging for those who are afraid of the dark ocean. Since the captain and three crew members cannot simultaneously care for everyone, you need to be able to float well on your own using a buoyancy aid like a noodle. Aside from that, it's a very fun and mystical tour that even children love.

It was a little difficult to locate the exact meet up point and we had to ask around for help. Other than that, the entire experience was AMAZING!! We got to see 7-8 rays right below us and they got super close to us! The crew were very helpful and attentive, they provide snacks, water and hot cocoa. Bring a towel with you because it can get cold. Suggestions: Would be good to provide some photos with instructions on how to get to the meet up point. And advice on what to bring to the boat. We forgot to bring towels and were shivering after the snorkeling.

It was so exciting to see the stingrays up close! At first, I couldn't find the meeting point, so I called to ask, and the staff told me to Google "Sunlight on Water." Overall, I was very satisfied with the activity. The staff were very patient and friendly, checking in on everyone periodically to see if they were okay. If you can't swim, they'll even guide you one by one to the floating board! The waves were quite strong that day, and I felt very dizzy. If you get seasick easily, you might want to bring seasickness medication. I went in late December, and it was very windy on the way back, so I recommend bringing a jacket.

I highly recommend trying it at least once. The captain and crew were very kind, and it was an enjoyable activity. They even had the thoughtfulness to translate with Google Translate since only Koreans were on board! It might get a little chilly on the way back, so a towel is a must.

The waves were huge and it was freezing cold that day, making the wait very difficult. Fortunately, in the end, we got our wish and saw two large manta rays dancing close in front of us. It was all worth the price.

Be sure to take motion sickness medication! But it was truly a wonderful experience! The crew and captain of Sunlight on Water were fantastic!
