Although four activities were advertised, there was only enough time for two. The scuba diving alone took three hours, including putting on equipment, filling out forms, pool training, and then a boat trip to and from the "shipwreck" area. The kayaking before that also required a 30-minute wait to register, and there was only one queue, which was a huge waste of time. So, despite a 6:30 AM meeting time, we didn't actually depart Brisbane until 7:30 AM, arriving at Moreton Island at 9:00 AM. It wasn't until 10:30 AM that all the time-consuming tasks of waiting for people, filling out forms, and queuing were completed, and we finally started the first activity, an hour of kayaking. After it finished at 11:30 AM, we had 10 minutes for a snack. At 11:45 AM, we started filling out forms, putting on equipment, and waiting for training for scuba diving. Pool training began at 12:30 PM, ending at 1:30 PM, when we boarded the boat. The activity finished at 2:50 PM, and we returned to shore. I had hoped to try snorkeling, but there was another long queue. After waiting for over 20 minutes, I was told it was too late. To catch the 4:00 PM return ferry, I had no choice but to change clothes immediately and end the activities.
