Glamping Japonês - Ogawa Tipo 52R

The overall feeling was very relaxing, and luckily the weather was great. We drove there and saw the logo of the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall, so we turned in, which we had foolishly missed at first. The car can be parked next to the camp, which is very convenient for unloading things. There are six camps there, and we went on a weekday, so including us, there were only two groups. The person in charge was very nice and arranged for us to stay further apart. The toilets were clean, and there was even a hairdryer to use! The hairdryer was quite powerful, which is a bonus. Going in November, it was quite windy at night, so we didn't turn on the air conditioning inside the tent. It was only in the morning when the sun was strong that the air conditioning became very useful! The cooking utensils were all there, but don't expect too much...

The campsite is fully equipped; you only need to bring your own food and personal items. The restrooms are very clean, and the shower rooms have hot water. There's also a spacious area for handling utensils and food. In summer, the campsite provides portable air conditioners for guests, which is a thoughtful touch, making it true glamping. Although there are no staff after 6 PM, they ensure everything is in order for guests before leaving. In case of bad weather, the campsite offers one free rescheduling within 60 days. My friends and I had to reschedule due to heavy rain and thunderstorms. Due to my own oversight, I forgot to confirm after checking for available dates, and we almost couldn't check in upon arrival. Thank you to the campsite for immediately arranging a similar tent type and related equipment for us. They were very thoughtful and efficient, and I sincerely thank them again.

It's considered quite clean, and the facilities are very complete. Although it says cooking is a choice of one, in reality, everything for hotpot and cooking is provided. We noticed that when choosing BBQ, it wasn't bright enough, making it hard to see if the food was cooked. In the morning, the circuit breaker kept tripping, and there was no electricity. Without air conditioning, the tent became very stuffy.

A nice glamping experience, they got air-conditioning for your camp so it is still a good option to do this during summer time

The WhatsApp inquiry responses were very quick. You take a minibus in, and it's just a few minutes' walk from the drop-off point. Inside the camp, they sell bottled water, beer, charcoal, mosquito coils, etc., and there's even a communal fridge! After checking in, you get a toolbox with bowls, plates, a fruit knife, a cutting board, oil, and salt – it's all very complete. You can bring a lot less stuff. Both inside and outside the tent are kept quite new, and the toilets, sinks, and dishwashing areas are very clean! Truly very clean! The hot water from the shower heater is hot enough too! There aren't too many mosquitoes in the environment; the owner has a large incense stick, and once lit, all the mosquitoes disappear – amazing! It's a very relaxing place, and anyone who wants to experience camping can choose this spot.

Convenient transportation, with buses and minibuses stopping right at the entrance. The facilities are comprehensive, and the restrooms and tent equipment are clean. However, the canopy was blown over at night, luckily with the help of fellow campers. It is recommended to bring your own cutlery and scourer for better hygiene, as the cleanliness of cooking utensils relies on the previous campers' self-discipline. The decorative tent lights ran out of power in the middle of the night, and one can of gas might not be enough for cooking dinner and breakfast, so it's advisable to bring a spare. The secluded and comfortable environment makes it a great choice for camping beginners.

This was my first time glamping and I was really looking forward to it! 😚 The environment and facilities were all good, but unfortunately, my friend ran out of hot water while showering because of the electric water heater. 😅

The campsite is easy to reach, just a short walk after getting off the minibus. It's a great experience for beginners, as you don't need to bring too much gear to go camping. Customer service and staff are all happy to help and respond quickly.
