A day trip to the waters off Fiji. It takes about half an hour by yacht from the pier to reach South Sea Island. The island offers free soft drinks or local beer, and lunch is simple but not bad. There are also traditional cultural performances. Free water activities include snorkeling, a semi-submersible, kayaking, and more. There are plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks available on the island. The price difference between a half-day and full-day trip is not significant, so a full-day tour is recommended!

Don’t get me wrong, I like the island. I just want to share my actual experiences. That full day tour is too long to lay idle in the small island; glass-bottom boating is short; snorkeling is very short; the cultural show and the buffet lunch were okay. On the other hand, half day tour is also risky to miss all the fun; especially the chaning weather condition that canceled island activities.

It was a very relaxing day on the island. The food was very good, and it was nice that beverages were included!

I've had a great half-day trip to the island. The company emailed me the time and place for the pick-up a day before the trip itself and I was so glad. A lot of information in Klook for the half-day trip were incorrect so Klook, please take note and update! Lunch was not bad and the lunch time performance was great! The only thing that puzzled me was that I was being asked to pay FJD$20 for my pick-up (in a car) from the bus stop just outside my hotel to Port Denarau. I was not asked to pay for my pick-up from the port back to the hotel (which was in a mini-bus). I emailed the person in charge but I did not get any reply.

We loved this experience! The boat ride was comfortable and fast. The island was small, but fun. We enjoyed snorkeling, kayaking, beach volleyball, swimming in the pool and at the beach, Meke performance, and eating. The lunch was good: BBQ, fresh fruit, salad, and breads. My kids especially enjoyed the unlimited soft drink. The boat was late leaving the island, but they made sure the transfers were waiting for us.

We had such a great time on the half day tour. It was the perfect amount if time for our family of 4. The trip out was smooth and went fast. Lunch was tasty and plentiful.

Since hotel transfers, island drinks (beer, wine, cola, water, etc.), and meals are all included, you generally won't need your wallet. All drinks are free except for special ones (cocktails, mocktails). Activities are also free. While it's best to manage your valuables, not needing a wallet is a relief. The most important thing is to disembark early to secure a good spot. It's first-come, first-served, so act quickly!

great experience! service is top notch. They transferred us from our hotel in Denarau to the Port and then to south sea island. They have different activities throughout the day like snorkeling, everything including. and plenty of drinks. Lunch was nice as well.
