The egg tarts are delicious and seem freshly made, and the wife cakes are also delightfully flaky. However, the packaging is very poor; they're only in a plastic bag, meaning they can only be eaten immediately and can't be taken home to enjoy.

Great value, both the egg tarts and the 'shaomeng' (fried dough balls) are delicious, and the redemption process was quick.

It's not hard to find the store, even though the signage is in Chinese characters. The tart itself costs 10 HKD, so buying through Klook is definitely more affordable. And the taste was really delicious. This is my second time eating an egg tart; the first was in Taiwan.

The store might not be easy to find because you have to go inside the ferry terminal (it's not located outside with other stores). It was easy to redeem; they have a Klook machine that easily reads the QR Code. The presentation is very nice, and we had to eat all of it as it expires in 4 days (not ideal if you plan to travel with it as a gift). The taste is good, but nothing spectacular to expect.

Due to the recent pandemic, there aren't many people around. This Tai Cheong Bakery at the Star Ferry Pier also has few customers, but their famous egg tarts still taste great. The egg flavor is rich, and the crust is flaky. Buying them with a Klook package deal is cheaper than purchasing them on-site.
