The Hyatt's location is unbeatable, with a side entrance directly to the commercial street. It has its own ski hut, so you don't have to crowd with others. It's the top recommended hotel in Changbai Mountain Wanda!

It's very convenient for a one-stop trip. The package includes ski tickets and hot spring tickets. The front desk also upgraded us to a room with a view, which was great. I especially want to thank customer service Chloe, who was incredibly patient. She patiently helped me choose the Hyatt Changbaishan from the Sugar House in Guilin. I believe the price was the lowest online and the service was the best. Next time I travel, I'll confidently leave it to Klook.

The booking price is quite favorable, but requires a second confirmation. For skiing, choosing Hyatt is an excellent option. Customer service representative Yoyo was good, answering questions promptly.

I stayed at the Hyatt with a long-standing positive impression, but I was unexpectedly disappointed by the Hyatt Regency Changbaishan Wanda Resort on New Year's Eve. To be fair, the Hyatt's environment and aesthetic decoration are as consistently excellent as ever. However, this resort, apart from its environment, seems to offer little in terms of other service quality. Firstly, regarding ski hut rental: it advertised having independent ski huts (which was a key reason I chose the hotel for its convenience and comfort). Yet, after routinely paying to rent helmets, ski boots, skis, and other items in the ski hut, even the lockers required an additional and mandatory rental fee. Initially, I didn't realize renting a locker was compulsory. Since I only had my personal shoes and no other storage needs, I simply placed my shoes neatly to one side. After skiing all morning, I returned to the rental area only to find my shoes "missing." After first asking the on-site staff, who all claimed "they hadn't seen them," a staff member eventually produced my shoes and said, "Next time, we'll charge you a storage fee for this." Seriously, do people normally ski barefoot and just put on ski boots? When providing normal ski equipment rental, shouldn't there implicitly be necessary storage or changing space? If I have no other storage needs besides my shoes, is it really necessary to force me to rent a locker when I don't need to occupy one? Secondly, room service: after cleaning in the morning, the bathrobes were taken away but not replaced in a timely manner. In the evening, eight minutes before my scheduled SPA appointment, I specifically called to request an urgent delivery so I could go down for my massage. It wasn't delivered within ten minutes, causing me to miss the start of my massage appointment. Thirdly, the SPA center: I initially booked for 8 PM. At 7:25 PM, I went to ask if I could postpone it, but was told no, because there were subsequent appointments. So, I went back to my room upstairs to change and shower for the massage. After showering, I found there was no bathrobe. After calling room service, I called the SPA center again, explaining that I was waiting for room service to deliver the bathrobe and requesting a ten-minute delay. The reply was still, "It can only end on time," and "The SPA center and room service are not linked." Fourthly, in the evening, I called guest services twice, but neither call was answered. Fifthly, after the room was cleaned, the tissue box on the dressing table was not refilled, with only a few sheets remaining. In the evening, I called customer service to request a delivery, but as mentioned in the fourth point, the call was not answered twice, and someone finally picked up on the third attempt. Perhaps the above doesn't sound like the Hyatt did anything excessively wrong. Apart from the somewhat poor room service, everything else seems "impartial" and "rightfully" reasonable. However, in reality, when actually facing the service, this experience of constantly hitting roadblocks and feeling frustrated on New Year's Eve, honestly, greatly affected the Hyatt's stay experience. Any consumption at the hotel (even including the independent ski hut gimmick and the aforementioned bugs) requires additional spending, which is understandable. But I ask, for a 4000+ RMB per night hotel, doesn't it deserve better overall service? This is my first-ever five-star negative review experience, and it happened on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2023. To be fair, the front desk, concierge, and breakfast staff all had very good service attitudes.
