really a good deal. the tourguide - Mr Sopheap - was extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable. we booked this trip expecting to see temples but we returned with a better experience: we learned history, culture, and fun facts about the temples. if you have the chance to book this, do not miss out! highly recommended tour and tourguide!!!

Bengmealea temple and Koh Ker temple are very special temples and you should not miss them. They are absolutely worth going. Bengmealea temple is covered by green in rain season which is very beautiful. You can't see that at other temples. Koh Ker temple is just amazing. It's huge and you can climb to the top and get a beautiful view of the surrounding forest. Tour guide Sopheap is very nice and shared a lot about Cambodia with me. It's a great tour!

Absolutně úžasný výlet, získal jsem tolik poznatků o historii a kultuře během jedné cesty. Průvodce je velmi znalý a zajímá se o historii země. Naprosto profesionální, řízení času bezvadné. Cestovní kancelář byla od začátku velmi profesionální. Předem mi poslali e-mail se všemi podrobnostmi. Rozhodl jsem se pro skupinový výlet, a protože tam nikdo nebyl, stal se z něj soukromý výlet, společnost to mohla zrušit, ale neudělala to. Bylo to skvělé.

The tour was fabulous! The pickup was on time and the transport was comfortable. We were 3 tourists and it felt like a private tour. Mr. Sopheap was our guide and he took good care of us. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We first visited the Beng Mealea temple and spent almost 2 hours there. Mr. Sopheap showed us around and told us so much about the place, history, and culture. Then we headed to the Koh Ker pyramid temple, which is certainly the highlight of the tour. We had lunch before visiting the pyramid. The Koh Ker pyramid is so majestic! Definitely a must-visit spot when in Siem Reap. Our guide also showed us 2 extra spots nearby which were not in the tour. They were amazing too... Everything about the tour was perfect. It was a hot day, so we were provided cold water and a cold towel. He also gave us refreshing sugarcane juice to beat the heat. Had a great day!

Clearly the best trip so far in Siem Reap. These temples are located far from the city and belong to an Era older than Angkor Wat. Naturally taken over by the forestation and un plundered by the various regimes, they are beautiful and dramatic due to the infusion of trees into the structures. The pyramid temple at Koh Ker is one of the most beautiful structures I have seen. The guide Mr Narath was excellent and provided such valuable information about each site and the kingdom from back then. The lunch is at small shops outside the main temple but we had some fresh fruits to stay light and cool.

The two points on the itinerary are both further out in the outer circle (especially Koh Ker) but are on the way. For solo travelers, transportation would be inconvenient, and for women traveling alone, chartering a car might feel unsafe. Although joining a tour is slightly more expensive than chartering a car, it's still cheaper than the market rate for outer circle tours, and the main point is its convenience. Bung Mealea is actually not far from the new airport. I wonder if there will be tours in the future that don't require returning to the city before heading directly to the airport. That would be very convenient for travelers with late-night flights. In the morning, people will first be picked up from various accommodations in the city, then meet at a coffee shop before being divided into groups. After being divided, they will switch vehicles. The car seats are velvet sofa chairs, which are very comfortable for long journeys. First, we went to Beng Mealea, then to Koh Ker. It's said that the entrance fee for Koh Ker has increased significantly again, now $15. However, both sites are very different in style from the Angkor Wat temples in the small and grand circuits, so they are still quite worth visiting. After that, we also visited a small temple near the Koh Ker pyramid called "Prasat Pram," which has two towers covered by trees. Unlike the thick roots at Ta Prohm, these are intricate and numerous fine roots, which are quite astonishing. All in all, it was a pleasant trip. The tour guide was also very dedicated and is highly recommended.

Both locations took about 1.5 to 2 hours to reach from Siem Reap city, but the unique rural scenery made the journey enjoyable. I was extremely satisfied as both were ruins I had very much wanted to visit. I discovered there were many more ruins than just those commonly seen in photographs. Our guide, Kim, was very kind and his explanations were easy to understand. The horizon viewed from the top of Koh Ker temple was magnificent. Beng Mealea felt like the world of Laputa. Since you'll be walking through forests and climbing pyramids, comfortable shoes and a hat are essential.

It was beautiful! Everyone who visits Cambodia should definitely come. Can't miss. The temples felt like you are in a movie. Very peaceful, totally different than Angkor Wat. G1 and Touch were super helpful and really dedicated to make us have great experience :)

These are temples located far from the Angkor area. My guide is Sopheap Rath, and he knows a lot about the history of the temples and is willing to share all his knowledge with you. This temple is mostly ruins and devastation from wars. You will see how massive it is. The second stop is at Koh Ker temple. I especially like its pyramid style, and you can climb all the way to the top to get a good photo. In addition, the guide also took us to Prasat Pram temple in the area. I really love this temple, which has trees growing over it. This can make for a very good Instagram picture. The last additional temple he took us to was Prasat Neang Khmau, also known as the Dark Lady temple. I'll let you find out why it's called that.
