This is a fantastic experience, being able to be close to these majestic animals is something you will never forget, to walk with them to feed them just being in their presence is an amazing time, the size and strength they have is outstanding and being in their aura makes you feel like your with old friends. This conservation project needs your support so go on the fantastic tour and relish being so close to these beautiful elephants. Our tour guide Segh was outstanding very entertaining and knowledgeable he helped make our tour something special. It takes about an hours drive from Siem Reap to get there, then you get an introduction and help make the elephants treats to feed to them a little bit later, you then have a jungle hike to see the other elephants along the way as well as other wildlife. Back to the outpost for some tasty lunch before back to hotel, this is the morning tour, if you want to meet some beautiful elephants this is the way to do it. I would recommend it.
The Kulen Mountain trip, including the waterfall and the elephant sanctuary, was fantastic. Sean, our guide, and the driver were both great. Everything went smoothly, and they knew exactly where to take photos. We highly recommend this trip.
A tour organized in every detail and a fantastic experience that allows you to see authentic and charming places. Our guide, Makara, proved to be very knowledgeable and helpful right from the start. Thanks to him, we also have a lot of beautiful photos that we wouldn't have been able to take ourselves. The visit to the elephant sanctuary was also very special.
This was hands down the best experience we’ve EVER experienced. Absolutely fantastic and highly highly recommended. Mr August our guide was awesome making the whole experience even more fantastic, and his awesome driver who navigated those roads was amazing too. Definitely recommend, and would do again when back in Siem Reap. We initially booked just because of the Elephants but the extras along the way were breathtaking. Then the Elephants topped it off with the professional organiser at the sanctuary getting it done regardless of the weather. Definitely the best life experience ever.
This tour was definitely worth the money. Our tour guide Mr. Makara and the driver were prompt and professional with such a friendly demeanor. Mr. Makara's knowledge base was impressive paired with his passion and love for his country. We received cold water bottles and towels throughout. The entire tour was well put together. The highlight was the Elephant Sanctuary along with the humorous guide Seth. It was truly unforgettable experience. We would also like to thank Mr. Makara for taking pictures of us to have as memories which allowed us to be in the moment fully. We will cherish these memories always.
We enjoyed the trip. Mr. Makara and the driver arrived early. They made sure we were very comfortable. There was always cold water and cold facial towels to cool us down after every stop. The lunch was delicious as well. Kulen Mountain is beautiful. The 1000 Linga River is also amazing. The highlight of the trip was the elephant sanctuary. We got to interact with the rescued elephants, who are very gentle. They need visitors so that they can sustain the food the elephants need. Highly recommended activity! Worth the price.
I booked a full-day tour that included Kulen Mountain in the morning and an elephant tour in the afternoon. Our guide, Mony, and driver, Mark, arrived at the hotel lobby at 7:30 AM to pick us up. Throughout the tour, they consistently provided refreshing lemon-scented wet wipes and cool water, which was wonderful every time we finished a short tour segment and got back in the car. Both the guide and driver were incredibly kind, and their English was excellent, like native speakers, so I learned a lot. During the Kulen Mountain tour in the morning, they always prioritized us and shared various stories, making it feel like touring with a close friend. The palm cake we had at the beginning was truly delicious, and the view from Amazing Cliff was an incredible sight rarely seen in real life. Afterward, the Reclining Buddha and 1000 Lingas were also unique experiences, and the picnic under the waterfall was a truly healing tour. The chicken we ate during the picnic was also very tasty. During the elephant tour in the afternoon, even while we were making elephant snacks, unlike other guides, Mony and Mark continuously took photos of us from near and far, which we greatly appreciated and created many memories. The elephant tour was also a great opportunity to interact directly with the elephants. At the end of the elephant tour, a sudden heavy downpour occurred, but they quickly brought us umbrellas, allowing us to be the first group to get into the car and leave. Whenever anything happened, the guide and driver responded quickly and wisely, making for a comfortable tour. If I travel to Siem Reap again, or if friends or acquaintances go, I will highly recommend Mony and Mark. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mony and Mark once again. You are the best, Mony and Mark!
Un día realmente genial que cubrió mucho. El viaje parece caro, pero lo cubre todo. Los elefantes fueron increíbles. Disfrutamos de cada una de las paradas y de un hermoso lugar para un delicioso almuerzo.
Such an amazing experience! The elephant sanctuary is run by a community committed to taking care of the remaining elephants of Angkor Wat. By participating in the tour, you invest in the people taking care of the elephants and the preservation of the sanctuary. Highly recommend this experience, which includes making food for the elephants + feeding them, walking around with them and taking photos with them.
They picked me up at the hotel right on time and gave me four bottles of cold water during the tour. Our guide, Sa, explained everything in detail and took great photos for us. Lunch was Cambodian style, and they even prepared fruit, which was all very delicious. At Elephant Forest, we were able to observe the elephants up close, feed them, touch them, and even splash them with water. The roads are quite bumpy, so if you get carsick easily, I recommend bringing motion sickness medication. It was a lot of fun, so I definitely recommend joining!
