Excursão de Mergulho com Snorkel em Coral Mountain e Halfmoon Reef Phu Quoc de Lancha

Our group of 8, two families, enjoyed a small-group tour with our lively and professional guides, Windy and Wave. It was great that they kindly taught us how to snorkel from scratch. Our family, who has poor eyesight, brought prescription goggles, and fortunately, snorkels that could be attached to the goggles were also provided, so we had a wonderful snorkeling experience. You can use the mask-type snorkels provided if your vision is up to -4. Overall, our snorkeling experience in Phu Quoc with OnBird was satisfying and recommendable to others. I could understand why everyone chose this place. At first, I had so many questions that I felt a bit bothersome, but then I realized they were telling me for my safety, and I became grateful. All the instructors I met were incredibly kind and professional. It was really great that 8 people went with 2 instructors. They said the water was green, but it was more emerald than green. The underwater world was so peaceful and beautiful that I want to come back and do it again! The 3 Koreans, 2 Japanese, and 2 Chinese people who accompanied me were all lively, so the tour atmosphere was fantastic! I wish you prosperity and always safe lessons. ♥️♥️♥️🙇‍♀️ (Oh! Nice snorkelling experience at Phu Quoc, we have 8 people (4 independent small groups) in the group with 3 snorkelling guides guiding us around. Feel safe and secure knowing somebody is alway guiding us at our sides. The guides are all very patient and showed us correct way of carrying out snorkelling. Snorkelling mask and fin are provided.

Snorkeling is the main activity, and they explain the basics of how to snorkel in detail. It was great that they took us near the coral reefs to show us around, but the visibility wasn't clear due to coral dust and other factors. If you refer to the photo below, you can get an idea of the underwater visibility. We snorkeled so much that we didn't even have the energy to eat, so don't bring anything else, just a large towel. Also, it's difficult to use camera products other than a GoPro.

They were very punctual with the pickup time, and to get straight to the point, I was so satisfied that I wondered, 'Would my satisfaction with the Phu Quoc trip have been this high if I hadn't done the Onbird hopping tour?' My friend was afraid of water and it was her first time snorkeling, so she was very worried, but after the tour, we were both raving about wanting to do it again, haha! I saw the instructors teaching us so kindly and meticulously, and I realized why they have a 5-star rating. They told us not to be scared or afraid and taught us so well, so my friend, who almost became shark bait, was satisfied, and since I suggested it, I was also very proud and satisfied! As others have written, this course is highly recommended for those who want to focus on snorkeling 👍 However, I think the underwater world of Vietnam might not have as diverse or might be a bit more monotonous than snorkeling spots in other countries. Still, I focused on looking into the underwater world... They meticulously asked about precautions and things to check beforehand! Also, I hesitated because lunch was excluded, even though eating after playing in the water makes food taste better, but I didn't even think about food at all 🥹 Food wasn't the issue... it was just so beautiful and wonderful, haha. At first, I was a little worried because they were local instructors, but they spoke English well and everyone was really cute and fun, haha. The speedboat was also so much fun. Especially the last island, it was sooooo beautiful that it's still vivid in my memory. I was just amazed the whole time. The hopping tour alone significantly boosted my satisfaction with the Phu Quoc trip. Even if I come back to Phu Quoc, I'll choose Onbird. Every moment was great. I chose Onbird because I wanted a private tour, and I was very satisfied! They were punctual, explained everything thoroughly, and took care of each person to make sure they were following along, which put me at ease. In my case, I almost hit a coral while snorkeling, and they somehow knew and came flying over, grabbed my arm, and pulled me away! They really do look after each person that well. Best ever! The price is a bit higher because it's a small group tour, but it's worth every penny. There was no waiting time, and I could focus on snorkeling, which was great. This was an unforgettable trip for me. There was an English-speaking guide throughout, and we had three professional and friendly coaches who stayed with us at all times to ensure our safety. We started in a shallow area to get accustomed to the water and learn about safety precautions. Then, they took us to a shallower coral area, followed by another coral area with even more beautiful marine life, including many schools of small fish and abundant soft corals. Finally, we were taken to a small island for showering and rest, where fruits and drinks were provided. The island was beautiful, and we had extra time for photos. This was a very worthwhile trip. If you come to Phu Quoc, you must experience this at least once.

I'm a beginner and not a strong swimmer, but I signed up because I wanted to try snorkeling for the first time in the beautiful ocean! All the explanations were in English, but they were very polite and easy to understand. I felt at ease because there was practice in the shallow water. Even when I almost drowned, they guided me with a life preserver. It was a little scary at first, but in the latter half, I was captivated by the beautiful sea, fish, and coral. It's a wonderful memory of Phu Quoc Island.
