Once on board, the tour guide, a Taiwanese person, will explain all the precautions for the trip and inform you that if no whales are sighted, you can apply for a refund at the shop after disembarking. Approximately one hour after the sightseeing boat departed, we already found traces of whales. From the moment the whales were spotted, the boat crew began calculating the viewing time, which was about one hour. During this time, the tour guide also explained the whales' habits and activities, mentioning that whales surface every 10 to 15 minutes to breathe, at which point you can see their blowholes and tail fins. So, within that one hour, we saw whales about four to five times, which was very spectacular. After the one-hour whale watching, the boat will head back to the port. Once back outside the shop, you can take the shuttle bus back to this morning's pick-up location to disperse. Once everyone has been picked up, you'll head to the pier. After submitting the form, you'll board the boat. Chinese and English groups will be separated. The Chinese group will be led by the super lovely Emma, who speaks Chinese to the tourists. She is very humorous and patient. The captain seems to have a wonderful rapport with the whales, saying, "They'll appear in four minutes," and the whales really did appear! It was a very, very pleasant experience.
