Taitung | Experiência de montanhismo de 3 a 4 dias no Lago Jiaming

在農曆新年期間參加了這次旅行，很幸運地在向陽山屋和嘉明湖山屋都訂到了位子。老實說，這是我一生中最棒的旅程，被大自然環繞並欣賞那些令人驚嘆的山景，真是令人難忘。

嘉明湖一直是我人生必完成清單其中一個項目，這次有幸參加山林秘境由丞豐領隊每天帶領團員披荊斬棘到達每個景點，大家也都相處融洽，搭配美景與歡笑，的確不虛此行，非常值得。

The 4-day, 3-night itinerary was quite relaxing. The meals at the mountain hut were delicious, the group members were friendly and kind, and our guide, Brother Quan, was excellent. Jiaming Lake is so, so, so beautiful~~~

The weather was bad, a whiteout, followed by strong winds and extreme cold, then heavy rain. The climate in the mountains is unpredictable; even if the stars are out at dawn, the weather can change dramatically after climbing up. However, we still managed to catch a glimpse of Jiaming Lake when it finally appeared, even though it was foggy. We could still see the lake's color up close. We had anticipated a change in weather on the second day, but aside from that, the overall experience was quite good. Customer service responded promptly, the mountain hut food was excellent, and the shuttle bus driver was also very good. The team leader was great, encouraging and caring for everyone along the way. However, one person walked too fast, and another lagged behind. The front was too fast, and the back was too slow, meaning that if you didn't keep up with the front, you often found yourself walking alone in the middle. At night, turning a corner could mean losing sight of the lights ahead. Sometimes, with no one else on the path, you'd wonder if you were going the right way. Walking alone isn't bad, but it was my first time encountering such a guiding style. Due to the weather, we ended up rushing almost the entire time, with no designated lunch break. The low temperature meant we couldn't rest for too long. Those who arrived first waited for those behind, and as soon as the latter arrived, the former had to keep going. To avoid falling behind, we had to stick close. With heavy rain on the way down, no one wanted to take photos anymore. We couldn't visit the Baiyue triangulation point or Heishuitang, nor could they be introduced one by one, which was a bit of a regret.

This was my first time staying in a mountain cabin in Taiwan. Due to the weather (heavy rain was forecast for the last two days), our guide flexibly adjusted the itinerary from four days and three nights to three days and two nights. Although we didn't summit Sanchashan and Xiangyangshan, we saw the incredibly beautiful Jiaming Lake, sunrise, and sea of clouds, which was a rare and memorable experience.

I participated in the Jiaming Lake trek from August 14-17, 2022. Although I usually exercise, I was still very new to mountain climbing. Fortunately, I chose the four-day slow-paced itinerary, and we had a very professional guide (Xiao Wa) leading us. Along the way, he constantly reminded us of precautions and shared relevant mountaineering knowledge. Despite experiencing mild altitude sickness, I finally fulfilled my wish of seeing Jiaming Lake with my own eyes.

We happened to encounter a strong cold front, and were very lucky to experience a rare heavy snowfall in the mountains. The snow-covered peaks were absolutely stunning. The food was also delicious; I had thought we wouldn't have enough and even brought a stove and instant noodles to cook ourselves, but it turned out to be an all-you-can-eat feast. Having an experienced leader made everyone feel very at ease. In one trip, we collected the "Angel's Tears" and two of Taiwan's 100 Peaks. The sunrise at Mt. Xiangyang was amazing, and the magnificent sea of clouds was truly breathtaking. This trip was unforgettable and deeply moving.

I participated in the 3-day, 2-night trip. Our guide, Liu Fucheng, was very kind and handled issues promptly. He also paid close attention to and assisted team members with altitude sickness. Although it would be very strenuous without prior physical training, the guide was excellent and didn't force team members to complete all itineraries. He also did his best to help team members with problems, truly being very responsible. Additionally, the food at the mountain hut was decent but with limited choices. Also, you cannot use their water for brushing teeth or washing hands at the Jiaming Lake mountain hut. If you want to maintain a certain quality of life, you can choose to bring your own water, but that will increase the weight of your backpack.

The tour leader was very professional and provided excellent service. On the first day, when it rained, they also showed concern for the team members' physical condition and needs. 👍👍👍
