Visitors aged four and above require a ticket, and the price is the same for both adults and children. It is recommended to join a guided tour to gain a deeper understanding of the hardships and toil faced by miners in the past. The site preserves original mine shafts and carts, and the ticket includes a round-trip mine cart experience lasting approximately 15-20 minutes. The entire area is not very large; participating in the guided tour and experiencing the mine cart will take about 2-3 hours.

It was my first time here, a very special experience. I learned about the hardships of the miners in the past, how they got covered in black dust every day, and how bad it was for their lungs. They truly risked their lives just to provide for their families. You can ride the same type of vehicle the miners used to take to work every day; it's quite bumpy without shock absorbers! There's a restaurant in the park, but it was fully booked today, so we couldn't eat without a reservation.

This park is truly excellent. Not only can you enjoy a stroll, but you can also ride an almost perfectly preserved miner's train. It's a shame the park doesn't seem to have the funds for further renovation, but this also allows you to genuinely see the traces of history. With professional guides, you can gain a deeper understanding of the mining life. Plus, the nearby Shifen Old Street is great for browsing, making it possible to spend an entire day here.

I had always wanted to visit the Coal Mine Museum and ride the mini train, but I went to the wrong old site. The new Pingxi Coal Mine Museum is on a small mountain, and it takes about 30 minutes to walk there, so be prepared! But the overall experience was great, and the sweat was worth it!

The tour guide explained everything very thoroughly, and the ticket booth attendant was not rude as some people had mentioned. The single-car mini-train was very shaky due to the old tracks, which the children found to be a super fun, vibrating experience.

The only one of its kind in the country, this museum is a genuine coal mine transformed and preserved, and it also features the nation's only coal mine train. Just for the miniature train alone, it's well worth buying a ticket to enter!

A very special place to experience how local miners took a small train to the mining site. There are also guides who meticulously explain the history of the mine. It's definitely worth a visit! 😃👍
