When we visited the place, only 6 of us book for a tour. The place was so quite n peaceful. We are so lucky to see the firefly with the bonus of seeing the monkey n a monitor lizard. We are also so lucky that 1 curious firefly went inside our boat n come close to us. Its a very nice experience for the younger generation to see the real firefly specially my son. He was so happy n we are so grateful. Our tour guide was so good and friendly. You will never get bored hearing all the information that she was telling to us. For me its worth a visit😊

Nachts konnte ich viele Glühwürmchen in der Gegend sehen, auch wenn es nur ein kurzer Ausflug war. Der einzige Nachteil ist der Transport zum und vom Gebiet, aber abgesehen davon ist dies definitiv eine Überlegung wert für eine nächtliche Reiseroute.

We had an absolutely seamless and enjoyable experience! From checking in to the boat ride, everything went smoothly. Our knowledgeable guide expertly shared insights about the fireflies in multiple languages, ensuring everyone was engaged. After witnessing the mesmerizing fireflies, our guide went the extra mile to locate monitor lizards, making the tour even more fascinating. Highly recommended! We even chanced upon a full moon! Grab rides to and from Dearu hotel were easy to get too! Just be prepared for the aggressive mosquitoes – don't forget to pack plenty of insect repellent!

Our family had a great time! It was pouring that evening and we reached late. But the first boat was not back yet due to the rain and we were advised we may see only 20-30% fireflies. We were offered the choice to ask for refund or still go for the ride. Glad we chose to go ahead and saw owls and monitor lizards and the skilful driver tried his best to manoeuvre the boat to let us get the best views.

Amazing experience seeing fireflies in the night! Booked on Klook beforehand as recommended for ~$5. First boat left at 730PM and we were part of the second group at 740PM. Took grab there and back since it's far from the city. Sat on the right side of the boat. Hard to capture on phone camera.

It was a nice experience we had in Kota Tinggi. There were a lot of fireflies in the river, they were so amazing! It's a must to experience! Definitely worth it! It is so cheap! They also have lantern activities which are also cheap. They were so accommodating. I will come back there soon! I hope I'll get a chance!

Spent my anniversary here as one of the stop! Employees are so sweet and friendly!!!June was our tour guide and she did an amazing job , very knowledgeable and friendly! we saw many fireflies and lizards, no owls that night sadly. However, getting a trip back home if you are using Grab will be a lil tough, thank you Michelle for helping us get a Grab though!

My family had a wonderful experience on this trip. Our boat was scheduled for 7:30 PM, but we arrived late due to bad weather. The team was kind enough to accommodate us on the 8:30 PM boat. We saw an uncountable number of fireflies and also some wild animals like monitor lizards climbing up the trees. It was difficult to capture on a mobile phone camera, but highly enjoyable as the boat got right up to the trees near the bank for a close view of the twinkling lights. I recommend also buying the lanterns as they will assist in launching them.
