It was originally possible to see various animals, such as lions, tigers, kangaroos, and zebras. In terms of administration, there was no unpleasant smell inside the zoo, and there was a spacious parking lot available for parking. Visitors could also drive their own cars into the zoo.

I went on September 21st. It was the first sunny day of the four-day weekend, so I arrived exactly at 9:30 AM when the park opened, but the parking lot was already congested. I reached the parking lot around 10:00 AM and went to the ticket counter, but the Ranger Tour tickets I wanted were already sold out. So, I lined up to buy tickets for the feeding bus, and a staff member told me, "There's a high chance they'll sell out while you're still in line if you try to buy them now." (Indeed, they sold out around 10:30 AM.) Reluctantly, I lined up for the safari bus tickets. I was able to purchase tickets around 10:40 AM, but due to COVID-19 infection prevention measures, the number of passengers was limited, so the earliest bus available at that point was the 11:30 AM departure. I spent about an hour exploring the adjacent amusement park and having an early lunch to pass the time. For those planning to buy bus tickets, I recommend arriving as early as possible and lining up at the ticket counter. The safari bus takes a different route than private cars, so there was little congestion inside the park, and I could enjoy the tour without stress. Also, the driver's commentary was easy for children to understand and was well-received. To tour efficiently, I recommend using the bus rather than a private car. I left the parking lot around 1:30 PM, but the line of private cars was bumper-to-bumper, and I wondered if everyone would be able to enter before closing time. By the way, when I bought the safari bus tickets, I received a half-price discount coupon for Tomioka Silk Mill, so I went to visit it. Also, I recommend visiting "Konnyaku Park" for a factory tour and all-you-can-eat tasting (both free). Both are about 5 km from the safari park.

Great safari! The drive was fun, and the walking safari in the middle with feeding was suitable for young children. Decent restaurant with gaming machine!

If you take the bus tour, you get a lot more meat for feeding than if you just enter normally! The guide was also interesting and good. It was powerful and wonderful. It was good that I could enter at a discount with a coupon. Thank you very much.
