Although the departure time from Hanoi was very early, this tour was extremely satisfying as it took us to three famous places in one day and included both lunch and dinner. Our guide, Kyo-san, was also very good and fluent in Japanese! He paid attention to every detail, making us feel very secure throughout the tour. Compared to other English tours, the Japanese tour is a bit more expensive, but it's highly recommended as you can learn and enjoy various historical facts in your native language. Personally, lunch was a bit disappointing, but the Bun Cha for dinner was incredibly delicious. Since dinner is in the city center and the tour disbands there, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll around the city afterward before heading back.

From the morning pickup to dinner, it was a truly fulfilling day! Our guide, in particular, was always enthusiastic and excellent! Since we were staying at a hotel in the Old Town, they came right to the lobby to pick us up, and on the bus, they taught us various things like history, background, and delicious local foods. Of course, their Japanese was perfect! This tour requires good stamina. You'll be moving quite actively, so please participate when you're in top physical condition. However, if you feel something is too difficult, you can choose not to participate and enjoy free time at the meeting point, so it's also a good idea to pick and choose what you want to do. My satisfaction level is 100%! The river rafting, in particular, was superb. I wasn't confident in my stamina for the final mountain climb, so I opted out and got a foot massage instead. That was incredibly comfortable too.

Regarding the meeting point, I overlooked your message that you would come to our hotel and ended up going to the Opera House. I hurriedly contacted the guide, who then followed up and picked us up. This tour is wonderful, with delicious food, and allows you to fully enjoy Ninh Binh. Cycling around the villages of Ninh Binh was also great, and the historical sites were impressive. The river cruise through several caves was interesting. Climbing Dragon Mountain, adjacent to Mua Caves, was also a valuable experience. Although I was panting as I climbed, there was a great sense of accomplishment. The bus was also comfortable. Guide Zun's commentary was excellent, and he provided appropriate guidance.

This is a very comprehensive tour. It includes lunch and dinner, as well as cycling, boating, and mountain climbing. Regarding transportation, the return drop-off at a restaurant in the city center is a very efficient arrangement. Previously, on another tour, I was dropped off at a hotel in the suburbs, but I was the last one to be dropped off, so it got very late. With a local drop-off, after dinner, you can easily take a Grab back to your hotel. There was an elderly couple who didn't fully understand the tour schedule and complained about why the drop-off was local, which was very disappointing.

A certain level of physical fitness is required. While you'll cover a lot of ground cycling, the bicycles are lighter than those in Japan. Trang An offers magnificent and beautiful scenery. The locals act as boatmen, and since they secure a certain number of people, they apparently only work twice a day. They rely on tips due to low wages. I thought it would be good if everyone could contribute a little extra to help maintain the environment. Our guide asked us to give 30,000 VND, so we gave 50,000 VND per person. The last stop was Mua Cave, but the entrance was flooded and deemed dangerous, so it's currently closed. Instead, we climbed a mountain with 400 steps, but the latter half was practically a cliff. As someone with a fear of heights, I gave up after climbing about 70%, but the footing is quite poor, so I recommend wearing shoes with good grip. It's slippery. Afterwards, we ate Bun Cha and disbanded. Personally, Bun Cha was the most delicious food I had in Vietnam. Overall, this is a highly recommended tour. If you're satisfied, give your guide a tip when you disband and say your goodbyes. They can also offer you a little advice during your trip ^_^

I am extremely satisfied with the guide, Mr. Hong, whose explanations were easy to understand, interesting, kind, and thorough! It was great to hear about the history and the Vietnamese people in Japanese, which I wouldn't have understood on an English tour. It had been raining since morning, but the rain stopped as soon as we arrived, and the cycling in Hoa Lu and the boat ride in Trang An, which I had been looking forward to, were all incredibly moving. The lunch and the evening bun cha were also delicious. Everyone else on the tour was wonderful too. I highly recommend it! Thank you very much!

Trang An is literally an inland Halong Bay, and the boatman worked hard for nearly two hours, navigating through various large and small caves. Cycling before lunch felt a bit questionable. The bicycles were old and scary. Our guide was fluent in Japanese, and since we only speak Japanese, we thought a Japanese-speaking guide was necessary, even if it cost a little more.

The Halong Bay tour the day before was so good that I booked a day trip with the same tour company. The tour content was excellent, and the guide's explanations were very thorough, allowing me to enjoy learning about Vietnamese culture and history. It was physically demanding to be on the move all day, but I was very satisfied being able to explore various places in Trang An by bicycle and on foot!

Lunch was a typical buffet, common on tours, but everything else was completely satisfying. Cycling was pleasant, and it was enjoyable to see scenery that isn't visible from a car (you could choose a 'mamachari' city bike, and the saddle height was freely adjustable). For the boat trip, it was about 10 days after a typhoon, so the cave was submerged due to high water, and we couldn't pass through by boat, which was a shame. However, we still thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The cleaning staff were meticulously going around in small boats, and there was absolutely no trash floating on the water. The active course, which included a hotel pick-up and a wealth of activities, was fantastic. The car was spacious and comfortable, and the group size was just right, which made the course even more enjoyable. We were very grateful to be dropped off in time for our airport bus.
