The dervish dance is so traditional and spiritual. I can feel how the dancers try to connect with God, which is so spiritually touching. It is worth watching at least once.

Istanbul currently has a few performances that still retain traditional religious rituals, with solemn and dignified content! No photography is allowed, but outside the performance venue, there are many introductions available to understand the origins and development of the Sufi dance.

You really must experience a performance like this when you come to Turkey; it's absolutely spectacular.

Everyone, please note: there are several Whirling Dervish locations in Istanbul. We went to the wrong one and had to rush back to the correct location. Luckily, we decided to see the Whirling Dervishes in the end; it was truly much better than we imagined, far superior to the Turkish Night. Highly recommended!

Really good experience. Highly recommended. The tour guide is also highly informative. Also, we can actually take photos and videos.
