Etsuko met us at Kyoto station, she was amazing at navigating us through the various stations and platforms, We visited Fushimi Inari Taisha where she answered any questions we had and gave us information on the history. We then went to Nishiki Market for lunch and to look in the stalls, it was great to have a local to translate with some of the vendors, and also to provide us with information on the various stalls. After lunch and a shop we went to Kenninji Temple where Etsuko explained and guided us through. We then caught a taxi back to Kyoto Station which was great having Etsuko there to translate, and even after arriving at the station she guided us to the correct train to return back to our accommodation! I highly recommend this guided tour to any first time visitors to Japan as the stresses of navigation around the city are completely taken care of, you can just enjoy the day! 11/10

I was greeted promptly at the expected arrival time by the guide, at the reception area of my hotel. This was very convenient and eliminated the stress of trying to find a meeting place in a completely new city, where the language and written characters are unfamiliar. From there, walking among the beautiful shrines, temples, and gardens was so satisfying because the guide had easy-to-understand charts and timelines that showed how Shinto, Buddhism, and Japanese culture developed. Every question I had was answered in very clear English. My request to see rock gardens and moss gardens was completely satisfied. Doing the entire tour on foot worked out perfectly for me because I hoped to experience the beauty of Kyoto immersed in it. I was provided a card that allowed me to get through every entrance gate at each train station, a very satisfying feeling as I was completely unaware of the procedures for Japanese trains. The guide provided thorough, detailed, and interesting information about each place on the tour, which was what I had hoped to learn. Just a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Kyoto in the Autumn is filled with natural beauty, culture, architecture, and gardens. I feel like this walking tour, and this pleasant, knowledgeable guide allowed me the best opportunity to explore and experience a wonderful day in a wonderful city.

Our local guide, Miki, was very warm and accommodating to our requests. We requested a halal lunch restaurant and the bamboo forest instead of Nishi Market. She helped us navigate with the locals and public transportation, which really made a difference. We highly recommend Miki and her experience for your next trip to Kyoto!

We had a great day exploring Kyoto with Michiko. She was a very kind lady and full of local information. She had a perfect itinerary scheduled and adapted it on the go to fit our needs. We would definitely recommend her and her services to anyone looking to explore Kyoto.

Yoriko was an excellent guide. She explained to us the historical and cultural significance of the shrines and temples we visited. She even used trivia to pique our interest in the places we visited. She also accommodated our request to visit the Geisha museum. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and thanks to her, we captured memories to share with family and friends in SG.

Our One Day tour with tour guide Ms. Akari Yamaguchi was superb. First thing, the tour Company contacted a da after I booked in klook thru emaill. They gave us their contact. It was not hard to meet up with Ms. Akari when it was our day, we contacted easily. The tour was very great.. Ms. Akari showed us the highlights in Kyoto. It was not akward, we were like having a tour with a long-time friend. The tour was moslty walking but also riding a train and a bus. Ms. Akari goes beyond the service after the day tour, she even message us if we are already in the train going back to our Hotel. All of it was great!!!! Highly recommend this tour - try to get Ms. Akari.

This was our first time in Osaka and even though it was only a day trip, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We had the opportunity to try horse meat sashimi at an izakaya. Before dismissing us, our tour guide showed us around where and how to take the ride to other destinations. Thanks to our friendly tour guide Arimirei.

Michiko was more than just a tour guide; she was a wonderful companion for me and my two boys. Etsuko was an amazing guide, she was very patient and obliging to our every need. She was very knowledgeable and adapted the tour to make sure we weren’t covering anything we had already seen.
