We had a great time visiting the Ayutthaya Temples. Our transportation there was very comfortable, and the group was not too big. Our guide, Nick, was very lovely, enthusiastic, and helpful in making our trip comfortable. I loved how everything was already arranged for us, especially the entrance fees. We just got off the bus and immediately had a talk about the history of the place, then free time to roam around. Overall, it was a good experience.

It was my second time taking this same guided tour, and yes, it was still led by Nicky! As always, she was energetic and fantastic in every way, very patient and professional. This day tour was definitely worth it, and as long as you put in the effort to listen and pay attention, you’ll enjoy a jam-packed but well-paced tour of Ayutthaya’s historic heritage! I absolutely recommend this.

The Ayutthaya temples one-day tour was a fantastic experience and a great way to explore Thailand’s rich history in a short time. The temples were stunning, and the whole trip was well-organized and enjoyable despite the hot weather. A special shoutout to our tour guide, Nicky, who was incredibly energetic, engaging, and even kept everyone entertained by singing throughout the tour. It was even more impressive knowing she wasn’t feeling well, yet still gave her best to make sure everyone had a great time. Her enthusiasm really made the experience memorable!

This time, I was traveling with my 85-year-old mother-in-law, so I opted for a private tour, thinking that if we joined a group tour, her slow pace might inconvenience others. Although I hesitated a bit due to the higher cost compared to group tours, it turned out to be extremely satisfying. It was the right decision to book it. I couldn't quite catch the guide's name when he first introduced himself, so with his permission, I've attached his photo. He was an absolutely wonderful guide! For this private tour, a general course outline was displayed. However, my mother-in-law's long-cherished wish for an elephant ride was not included, but when I consulted with him on the day, he kindly accommodated the change. The last time my husband and I booked an Ayutthaya tour with another company, we were taken on an elephant ride without any choice, and the course was in an unfortunate, remote area. But with the Klook guide, he asked, 'Which ride would you prefer?' allowing us to choose and go on the ride we wanted. He also asked what we wanted for lunch, and when I requested 'river prawns,' he took us to a restaurant with live tanks, frequented by locals, even though it was a bit far from the Ayutthaya ruins. The prices were clearly displayed by prawn size, and we were able to enjoy very fresh and delicious prawn dishes with transparent billing, which was reassuring. Even my mother-in-law, who is particular about food, repeatedly said 'delicious' and seemed very satisfied. In addition, the guide constantly looked out for my elderly mother-in-law, ensuring safe and smooth boarding and alighting in busy traffic areas. During the car rides, he gave us detailed explanations of Ayutthaya's history that aren't in guidebooks (which I, as a history lover, thoroughly enjoyed), and also provided detailed information on potential dangers and how to avoid them for our itinerary in the following days. Although the designated drop-off locations were the hotel or Jodd Fairs Night Market, when my husband requested Khao San Road, he kindly agreed and even gave us detailed instructions on how to get back to our accommodation in Thonglor from there, and important points to note about Khao San Road, which was very helpful. Throughout the journey, he prepared plenty of ice-cold water in the car, which we drank many times. Thanks to this, we were able to enjoy the tour without suffering from heatstroke in the hot weather. Guide, I sincerely thank you. Thank you very much for everything this time.

I went at the end of March, so it was scorching hot, but I was able to enjoy it while conserving energy by regularly returning to the spacious and cool bus. The distribution of water was also very helpful. Our guide, Nicky, explained everything carefully in Japanese. She also answered our questions with a smile, which was very helpful. It was a shame we couldn't ride an elephant, but it was a very fulfilling Ayutthaya tour.

During my day trip, standing amidst the ruined temples and pagodas of Ayutthaya, I was deeply moved by the poignant sense of history and felt as if I was witnessing the past glory and splendor of ancient Thai civilization. It also saddened me to see the devastation that human warfare and slaughter inflict upon civilization. Although the weather was extremely hot and the sun severely burned me, I still felt the trip was well worth it! Our guide, Ms. Wan, worked incredibly hard, enduring the scorching sun while providing explanations in both Chinese and English. Many thanks to her!

I was guided by an experienced Thai-Chinese Japanese speaker. It was great to learn about the historical background, and since I was traveling alone, I was glad they took photos for me, as my own pictures tend to be mostly landscapes. Although it's the rainy season, it only drizzled occasionally, and there was no direct sunlight, making it comfortable. They also lent me an umbrella. On Sunday, the roads were clear, so we returned early. Lunch was a bit pricey, with tourist prices, but I didn't mind and ended up having two beers with stir-fried morning glory in oyster sauce. Overall, it was a comfortable and good tour.
