Excursão de um dia para Kawazu-zakura, Cataratas de Joren e Izu Shuzenji

It was a long journey, but it was interesting. There were three stops: strawberry picking, Joren Falls, and Kawazu Sakura. The time allocated for strawberry picking wasn't exactly 30 minutes; we were directed to a mini-market for souvenirs, which I found uninteresting, for about 20 minutes. However, the strawberries were delicious. Joren Falls is beautiful, as is the Kawazu Sakura. But since the location is quite far from Tokyo, the time at each destination felt rushed, especially at Kawazu Sakura. It took 6 hours to return to Tokyo from Kawazu.

It was wonderful to see the Kawazu cherry blossoms in full bloom, and we just made it for the last day of the cherry blossom festival, which had many food stalls! The whole day's itinerary was very rich and highly recommended!

The one-day tour is very convenient as you don't have to transfer yourself. Our tour guide, Mr. Kenji, provided excellent service.

Overall, I enjoyed the tour. Personally, I would prefer the activity at Kawazu Sakura to be two hours instead of one and a half hours, considering the crowd and the time needed to queue for food stalls and restrooms. It's a shame I barely walked through the whole area and didn't get the chance to try the food there, but I did manage to buy sakura manju as a souvenir!☺️

The tour guide was very kind and even gave us a mask, but it was too congested during the holiday.

The cherry blossoms have fallen, but aside from these unavoidable circumstances, I was very disgusted with the accompanying staff member on the bus. My friend suddenly needed to use the restroom during the ride, and since we both speak Japanese, we directly asked the staff member if the bus could stop. However, he coldly replied that this was the countryside, there were no restrooms 🚽, and we would have to wait another 20 minutes to reach the next stop. On the way, we passed two convenience stores and two gas stations. My friend really couldn't hold it, and I directly asked why he wasn't concerned at all and was just scrolling on his phone, and hadn't even conveyed the message to the driver. But the driver's first response was, "Didn't you have time to use the restroom at the strawberry farm just now?" This was outrageous; "just now" was an hour ago, and can one really decide when they suddenly need to use the restroom? We have participated in many bus tours, and even if they can't stop immediately, they usually comfort the guests, and we've even seen them stop directly at government buildings. In the end, we still had to wait until the next stop to get off and use the restroom. We've lived in Japan for so long and have never seen anything so ridiculous. What exactly is this staff member who keeps scrolling on his phone even doing here? This first Klook self-guided tour was just a terrible memory. Also, those going to Kawazu Cherry Blossom should be prepared for a 7-hour return journey. Although traffic jams are also unavoidable, consider it yourselves!

The number of attractions visited was a bit limited, and the time allocated for visiting them was also insufficient. For such an itinerary, the price seems a little high.
