Excursão de um dia ao Mambukal Mountain Resort

Ang buong tour ay kahanga-hanga. Ang tour guide ay napaka-accomodating at mabait din. Gusto ko ang mga kwentong ibinahagi niya tungkol sa Bacolod. Ang Mambukal resort ay isang napaka-nakakarelaks na lugar.

Mambukal is quite a distance from the city proper, but it's well worth the journey. I opted for a solo traveler package and thoroughly enjoyed my own company while bathing at this excellent hot spring resort. The resort is situated in a slightly elevated area, surrounded by lush forest trees, making the environment cool and breezy, but the hot springs perfectly balance this with the right amount of warmth.

location: The driver was friendly and very accommodating, however I was disappointed that there were no activities available in the resort besides the hot spring and the pool. This should be updated on the site to set customer expectations.

Dedicated pick-up and drop-off service, friendly driver and guide, simple commentary along the way, excellent experience.

Hindi ko irerekomenda ang package na ito. Talagang aksaya lang ng pera. Wala na ang paddle boat sa resort. Hindi rin mapupuntahan ang mga falls. Karaniwang swimming pool lang ang hot spring pool. Napakabagal ng serbisyo sa restaurant. Kailangan mong maghintay ng mahigit isang oras para maihain ang pagkain mo. Hindi rin nagbibigay ng diskwento sa pagkain ang restaurant para sa mga senior at PWD.

I have been booking and organizing our Team's trip using Klook and other tourist agencies for a long time, but this tour is the worst. The travel and tour agency should specifically remove this - "Local driver-guide." There is no way that our driver has accommodated us as a guide. We asked if we could drop by a coffee shop, but he just said that it was out of the way, whereas we actually saw local coffee shops along the way. The agency even told me that the restaurants in the resorts were closed, so the first thing that came to my mind was to buy packed lunch along the way, but then again, the driver said it was out of the way. He only said that there are carenderias near the resort when we asked (not his open suggestion). When we arrived at the resort, the driver just said that we arrived. No directions nor any other guidance was offered. He just said he could not enter the resort because that was another payment. So yeah, no guide whatsoever. Our team was interested in going to the Falls, but no, the agency said their unit was not ready to go up. We hired our own tour guide inside the resort and paid extra. We ended up not going to the falls because it would take a 1-hour trek, whereas according to our tour guide, if the driver would take us up, it would take just another 15-20 mins walk to reach the falls. Also, the contact number in the Klook voucher is a contact number for another province, Iloilo, so I had to redial and try to contact Southwest Travel and Tours - BACOLOD. The whole experience was not satisfying in every way. Good thing the tour guide we hired inside the resort was very accommodating, and he made up for what was supposedly our travel and tours have done for us. 15,000 pesos for a pickup and drop from the hotel to the resort for not even an hour of travel time was just a nightmare! The only explanation I got is that it is a KLOOK PRICE. I DON'T THINK SO!

Our tour was cancelled because the resort was closed on the day we were supposed to go. Klook or the operator should be aware of the resort's operational hours and should not tag the resort as available when it is not, to save both parties the hassle.

Mambukal resort was closed for the day. We were forced to transfer to another resort. It was not the same as planned. Not a good experience.

It's a great activity for a short stay in Bacolod City! The Driver, Ernie, was very accommodating and was one of the locals affected by the Boracay Island Closure who transferred to Bacolod. We had a whole van just for ourselves! (we are only 2).
