Thanks, Jack! We had a wonderful trip. Even though Taroko hasn’t fully reopened yet, it was still so majestic. Our experienced tour guide made the journey truly joyful. We’ll definitely be back once the rest of the park opens up!

We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion to Taroko Gorge with Harry. He made sure we had time to enjoy all of the sights, and we did! The Gorge is gorgeous -- sorry about the bad pun. The icing on the cake was the drive to and from the Gorge. Not only was it beautiful; it had unexpected sights, such as large weekend houses owned by wealthy people from Taipei surrounded by rice paddies. If you want to see Taroko, this is a great way to do it.

It's quite a long trip from Taipei, 3 hours each way, but it's perfectly manageable. We left at 06:30, had breakfast on the way around 08:00, and got back to our hotel by 18:30. The gorge is stunning, and we visited some interesting sites and took some great photos. We had a traditional aboriginal lunch - sticky rice and pork - delicious. Ted, our guide, looked after us well - good job.

I loved it! This is definitely the highlight of my Taiwan trip. Aaron speaks English well, is friendly with a sense of humour. He doesn’t rush you, and sets the pace of the tour by gauging your fitness level and interests. It’s also thanks to him that we were able to enjoy the beautiful waters at one of the trials. We won’t know that this location is accessible at all without him as the guide. The water is so clean and cooling~! The trip never felt rushed and we had comfortable rides back and forth the locations. Highly recommended!!

Steven, nuestro conductor y guía turístico, es muy amable y complaciente. Se aseguró de que nos tomáramos nuestro tiempo en cada lugar, nos tomó fotos bonitas y fue muy respetuoso. Es muy servicial y conoce bien el lugar. Al mismo tiempo, como familia de introvertidos, nos dio el espacio que necesitábamos, como darnos suficiente tiempo para relajarnos y simplemente disfrutar de la vista. En general, este viaje es muy recomendable. Nunca se arrepentirá de contratar este tour. 👌🏽

Frank war freundlich, pünktlich und verfügte über gute historische Kenntnisse. Die Wanderwege sind einfach unglaublich und wir konnten unzählige wunderschöne Fotos von der natürlichen Schönheit Taiwans machen. Sehr beeindruckt und kann diese Tour nur wärmstens empfehlen, etwas teurer, aber es lohnt sich.

This was a very worthwhile trip. Ben drove a Benz 7-seater van to pick us up at the hotel. The car was very comfortable. He can speak Mandarin and English. He was friendly, welcoming, and very professional. We were happy to be able to do the round trip from Taipei to Taroko in one day.

To sum it all up, our Taroko Gorge private tour was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Although it was a full day trip covering lots of places, we didn’t feel rushed. It was a pleasant, fun-filled trip. Taroko Gorge is a must visit when you’re in Taiwan and we wholeheartedly recommend booking Hicks as your guide. You won't be disappointed!
