The mod workshop was a really fun time! It gives you a nostalgic feeling while building it and choosing your pieces. Bin the host is really nice and welcoming and patient. You are helped the entire time so don’t worry about messing up! also make sure to choose the correct session as there’s different options

Pixel Lab Tokyo was one of the absolute highlights of my trip to Japan! You can build your own Game Boy Advance SP, have an incredible number of options to choose from, and get fantastic support and guidance throughout the process. An absolute must for any retro, Game Boy, or Nintendo fan. I'm just so happy I did it – a truly awesome experience! Best souvenir ever 😍♥️

It’s okay if you’re a beginner. They will guide you through the whole process step by step. They speak good english as well. The whole place is so clean and neat and well designed. Everyone was so welcoming. 10/10 recommend this place!!!! Definitely worth your time and money. Thank you so much for this experience! It was the highlight of my Tokyo visit! <3

The workshop was an incredible experience with an incredible staff and hospitality. It’s an inviting, homey, and comfortable atmosphere suitable to all skill levels in the Game Boy modding community. My session was one-on-one, so it lasted about an hour and 30 minutes, less than it would for a bigger group of up to 6-8 people. While the workshop might seem pricey, I would say it’s very fairly priced for not only the experience you get of modding your own console, but also the hospitality, the fact they have so many options to choose from for cases, buttons, pads, and much more. If you ever get the chance to go, I would highly recommend going to Pixel Lab with Bil as your guide; he’s a great teacher and incredibly friendly.

Fantastisk oplevelse med at modificere en Gameboy Advance. Der var så mange valgmuligheder for forskellige farver på kabinetter, knapper og skærme. Ejeren var yderst kyndig og hjælpsom. Kan klart anbefales 10/10!
