I felt a sense of resignation, thinking I had missed the last departure of the hour, but also held a faint hope that perhaps the departure was delayed. When I got to the cruise terminal, I saw a boat with passengers already on board. I showed my QR code and they let me on. The departure was at 6:35 PM. I'm not sure if this was a regularly scheduled time or an extra departure, but I enjoyed a pleasant one-hour cruise, listening to explanations in German. I had installed the app, but couldn't get it to work properly. Even without understanding German, the views from the boat were wonderful, so I'm really glad I was able to take the cruise.
